NYC Suburbs traffic, it is indeed ridiculous. NYC food delivery has a financial incentive that makes it an investment, a regular commute does not. These are marketed towards urban commuters with the income to make this another toy.

eBikes are a great invention, but their price tags are way up there. They’re upwards of over a thousand dollars, for a base model. This puts them as the indulgences of yuppie IT professionals, like my husband, who count them as another cool gadget. Also, even with it, his 6 mile commute was over an hour.
