The French built Renault 9 wasn’t all that bad. But, the ones they cobbled together in Kenosha were pretty much garbage. I’m still driving a Le Car and, while the speedo needle has indeed disintegrated, it runs like a charm and is a really fun car.

I just asked him on IM, he says it was a Mondial after all.

Everyone is replying with “308" or “308 GTS”, but if you want to be really pedantic about it; he drove 3 different 308s over the course of the show:

Little known fact: this is how the Forester was born.

The Philadelphia Police used them forever, they kept some as unmarked reserve cars well into the 2000s. I believe Charles Ramsey was picked up from the airport in one on his first day of work, to his chagrin.

I went into an Alfa dealer legit to test drive one, they had one Alfa, base trim, which isn’t the one I would want. Was on the showroom floor and they acted like an act of congress would be required for a test drive. So I left. Oh well.

No math to show you, just way too many hours on the internet researching vehicle aerodynamics. Without the obnoxious rear spoiler it may in fact be closer to 0.26.

The current Gen Prius V* uses NIMH batteries actually; I think only the PHEV Priuseses are LiON.
But NIMH are still recycleable, and many Priusessessii are still running on their original batteries. The charging software keeps them going for zillions** of miles.

The first and second generation Prius used nickel metal hydride batteries, which were not very green. From the third generation onwards, they switched to lithium batteries, which are almost completely recyclable (and are also the type used in all models of pure electric cars). So the “Prius isn’t green” argument

Weirdly, I was just thinking about this car. Because of the back to back seating, I consider it an updated Zündapp Janus.

It’s their business if it violates zoning codes... How come everyone else has to abide but he doesn’t? Additionally, does he sell parts from the cars? Do people come and take parts from the cars and give him money? Is there traffic that’s generated soley to look at and take parts from the cars? Now we’re getting

Those prices aren’t accurate anywhere. Goodluck finding a new RS or R at those prices. So in the real-world I wouldn’t say they’re that comparable.

The same goes for its 4000 rpm torque peak!

Yes, they use it for the e92 M3 GTS, for the e46 M3 it was CSL (it was decidedly less hardcore). For the e36, they had the M3 GT, M3 GT-R, and M3 Lightweight. If anything, it would make sense to call the current M4 CS an M4 CSL, due to it being what is in the spirit of the e46 M3 CSL, and call the hardcore e92 M3 GTS

Dammit, but you can still get a Benz

YES, A GOOD-LOOKING FULL-SIZE WAGON!!!

Most, if not all, of these attachments are just as old as the CJs. It might look weird or silly to our modern sensibilities, but these CJs have more in common with the tractors of their day than our modern Jeeps and tractors have with each other. If you’re a poor farmer, it’s far more economical to just buy a Jeep

Here’s a fun and true story. After the war a lot of Jeeps were fitted with conveyor belts to load baggage onto commercial aircraft. While they mostly did the job, they were very unstable and often tipped over. My grandfather actually solved this problem by designing the first purpose-built belt loader for aircraft

The 260 was slower and had less power then the 70-71 240, the 72 and 73 both had less power then the launch cars and the 260. The 280's where also slower due to weight and more smog gear. Interesting stat was the 1970 240z was the fastest Z made until the 300 twin turbo..

But I agree with what you said. 137hp in the

That last WRX story is insane. I live in the upper Midwest and have hit/slain a small host of whitetail deer at speed, most memorably in a Camaro and an A4 quattro. On both of those occasions I was going at least 60, hit the animal with the front driver’s side of the car, and the deer died before even making it to the
