Toyota: Let’s Go Places We Shouldn’t

Burning seems harsh. Can’t we first just toss him in a lake and see if he floats?

I think a lot of people miss the point of how Warhol approached art. What they see as lazy I see as a brief expression. His art is never overthought and he rarely dwelled on his pieces. He was constantly moving on to the next thing, which kind of was his whole point. He didn’t think he was going to change your life

lol

wow.. it looks almost exactly like the concept ;p

He got all huffy.

140? Fuckin’ millennials had it good. When I was a teenager nothing except a XJS and a Countach could achieve such a speed. But you’re correct. We all did it. We all tried to see how fast a car would go. In my case it was in a 81 VW rabbit diesel on I40 in Tennessee. I also got a speeding ticket while doing it.

I’m having a minor, math related crisis. If the speed limit is 70 mph and the speeder would normally be 9-12 minutes away, how did the speeder pass the cop in 2 minutes doing approximately 2x the speed limit. Wouldn’t he need to be travelling at 4 to 6 times the limit to catch up that quickly?

That happens at any speed on a neon:

That is very true. Subaru dealerships are also not very good at negotiating. It is why I ended up with a Hyundai. It isn’t the best car you can buy, but it is way nicer than my Corolla ever was and it was a really good deal, plus good dealership incentives (free oil changes and washes for life.) The Mazda3 is a far

However, Honda is going to let you down if you want a manual transmission and upgrades like a sunroof, leather seats, navigation, in addition to advanced safety features.

Am I alone in thinking this is the ugliest Civic in Honda’s history? It looks like the previous Civic model had sex with a Prius.

Remember that the 917 had a flat-12, Piech was just trying to out complicate himself.

As an Outback owner, I agree it has gotten big. However, it is Buick smooth on the highway and Landrover capable off. Every time a new wagon comes out (Alltrack, V90, etc) I cross shop, and end up back at the Outback. It looks TERRIBLE, but it is a great car.

Ah, duh, yes; the type 35 has a straight 8, and those little Amilcars ... don’t.

Given the prices, I wonder how different they are from other light racing cars of the era. In that sense, Amilcars seem to be well regarded, and positive bargains compared to Bugattis.

Sorry but these are not truly 100% accurate replicas of the T35B. They are very good in the majority of details - especially when it comes to the looks - but they are mechanically quite different.

Haldex systems are reasonably reliable in part because half of the drivetrain is napping most of the time. Symmetrical AWD setups. Are reliable as well as it is obvious that they have been historically well constructed.

The STI has an LSD but the Subaru Models that compete with the AllTrack most certainly do not. If you want to get into STI vs Golf R then I can see the advantage of the Subaru system but in the case of this car and its direct competitors I’m gonna give the win to the AllTrack, It may not launch to 60 as fast but it’ll
