She's not that old. Makeup makes her look older on camera, but she looks rather young in person

No, she's not bashing any group of people. She's saying that the hodge podge culture that she and her friends consume leaves her cold, and so why not create their own fantasies.

Right, there's a difference between Tech9 and DMX.

But she isn't necessarily talking about rap. She's talking about pop music and the American culture that she and her friends consume thousands of miles away.

Now that's a haircut you can raise your barn to!

One of the jr movie reviewers in my local paper was named Misty Seemens. That's the first time I've heard of a worse name.

It was released in installments, as was Watchmen and League of Extrordinary gentlemen. Each of those issues was in comic book form, but "Watchmen" and "V for Vandetta" differ from Alan Moore's run on Swamp Thing, which was an ongoing series of comic books released regularly and collected in trade paperback volumes.

Oh man, this is my kind of detective movie.

I think Todd enjoys doing those more. He has a lot more energy. Most of his pop song reviews have been kind of leaden. He basically admitted as much, that the current pop scene is wearing him out with its repetition.

Alright, by all means, enlighten me

His "One Hit Wonderland Series" is great. His look at Chumbawumba is similar in revealing a misunderstood band.

I think that bands, particularly guitar driven pop/rock, are also very quick to focus on original song wrting because Pop and dance pop hits are basically written by a handful of Sweedish guys at this point.
