You are right. But as someone who is not a fan of Boston or Washington, it doesn’t matter.

What?! SHit. I really liked Pitch.

True, but I would argue that there are guys just as big and fast as Lynch who didn’t have nearly the success he did. Whether you call that desire, or whatever there is an unmeasurable attribute that goes into being successful at just about anything I imagine. I doubt some meathead working in an NFL front office will

I would like to add that “desire” does count for a lot. The problem is just identifying and measuring desire. Football is a dangerous game. Actually enjoying it and wanting to succeed goes a long way to success.

Agreed. I guess I am just not some military/high school football coach that equates desire with conformity. Neither are you it sounds like. My only point was that watching Lynch run you can see desire or toughness or mental fortitude or whatever it is oozing out of him. I agree though that he probably wouldn’t rate

I think desire is sort of the X factor. What makes you think Marshawn Lynch didn’t/doesn’t desire to be great?

I have heard that too. It doesn’t make sense to me. I am lights out on an eight foot basket.

No. As a whole, Filipinos speak really good English. In my wife’s case, 6 grade - college was instructed in English.

No, they aren’t.

My wife is from the Philippines. She has three filipina friends here and I think they could all be considered “Mail order Brides”. I have hung out with the group and their husbands half dozen times in the last 2 years. They all seem like they have good relationships to me. They seem loving, supportive, everyone has

Yes, in the same year. LSU and Duke are the only schools that have number one picks in both drafts since the WNBA started. But in different years.

Whatever you call that position in that silly imperialistic game made up of people less athletic than American Lacrosse players. Do they ever die?

How often do pitchers in cricket die? If not often then why?

I am not lying. Ask my grandma. It is fifty yards behind her house.

What is your point? I’m not saying their kids shouldn’t be allowed in public schools. We are talking about roads. I live in a module home. Two bedrooms, and two FULL bathrooms, thank you very much.

Not in my state. I enjoy my bike. I am just starting to ride again this year. Pumped up the tires last weekend. I just enjoy correct facts more.

Since gas taxes are what pays for the majority of roads in my state I would say bikes don’t have “just as much right”.

I think Roy will stick around unless he takes a college or NBA job. I don’t see the the Garfield guy or the Rainier Beach guy leaving anytime soon. Those are the only two high schools more attractive, unless I am missing something. Seattle Prep maybe. Nathan Hale had seven transfers this year, granted three of them

Marginalized people were sexually assaulted two months ago as well.

Or the Bulls, with their last three championships, or the Lakers in the 80's, or the Celtics in the 80's, or the Knicks in the 70s, or the Celtics in the 60s. Shoot, George Miken probably played with two other great players as well.
