Yeah, and my (mis)understanding is that people cling to the fence as sort of an Engine Pod Challenge, for takeoffs too. Most just get what I’d regard as a significantly unpleasant experience, but there have been some serious injuries and at least one death.

I’ve been to this beach, but stayed near the water when the planes flew overhead.  Its an experience!

I’ve been on it. It’s a long damn drive and it is weird after a while.

Had a car come into the dealer that was hit by lightning. Hit the upper “A” pillar and come out the rockers and the wheels. every bearing in the thing was seized and all electronics were junk. Engine and trans bricked, burned holes everywhere it exited, wheels, rockers and such. One hole in lots of holes out.
