Uninvolved 3rd parties are arguably the best fact checkers. All other parties (police, the men arrested, and the Starbucks employees) have a vested interest in making sure they don’t look like the asshole in the situation. 3rd party witnesses have no such needs. They can report events as they saw it without any need

Has anyone ever called the police on you and were you ever taken out of a Starbucks in handcuffs by multiple officers before anyone spoke a word to you about leaving? If not, then your usage of personal anecdote in order to diminish the situation is a false comparison.

I like TLC too. To each his own man. *shrugs*

I meaaannnnn... that sounds fine. Obvi.

REALLY? When was this?

Yeah that’s always my opinion. You could meet at a coffee shop, a library, ANYWHERE. When you choose to meet in your home it may not immediately scream sexual harassment but it would certainly give me pause. But then I’m not in the line of work where people normally meet in hotel rooms for anything except sleeping.

Wait REALLY? I’m 29 and I totally remember them. I freakin’ LOVED Destiny’s Child. I would sing their songs and watch their music videos on TRL. (Jesus the nostalgia just hit me hard after typing that)

It’s funny this has to even become a policy in the first place. Like for non-entertainment jobs, no one would ever set up an interview at someone’s home or hotel room. Imagine interviewing to be a Starbuck’s barista at the store manager’s apartment....

They’re really YOUNG millennials. I honestly didn’t know if they actually remembered Destiny’s Child.

RIGHT like some people just aren’t smiley people...it doesn’t mean they’re not fun or that they don’t have a sense of humor.

I kind of like that they’re honest about it. Mr. Incredible has always had a mocho thing going on and it has definitely hurt his marriage. It makes sense he’d get butt hurt about his WIFE being the new face of Supers. But he loves her so other trailers have shown him really TRYING and wanting to be the supportive dad

I watched this film on a plane several years ago and was actively angry for probably 80% of the viewing. I contemplated stopping it several times but I am a masochist and am incapable of not finishing a film after I’ve started watching it. You guys, it has really taken me to some dark places.

My takeaways were pretty

Ok I agree with that Kelly chick. Andre Holland does the smolder better than anyone I have ever seen. That entire 3rd act I was like, “does this guy just look at people like that all the time?! Because I’m almost uncomfortable...”

“We all can own up to the water-logged fantasy board-game art scrawled across our sad, pasty, middle-aged backs.”

Yes, but can your dog pollenate billions of crops so that we don’t starve to death? Like... bees can save all of humanity simply by doing their jobs. Even by using dogs as scouts, that still doesn’t have the scope of helpfulness as bees.

It’s even MORE fucked up when you consider the fact that 1) almost no one remembers Aaliyah and R.Kelly had that whole marriage fiasco and that 2) at the time Aaliyah was ostracized for having been married to R.Kelly and had a hard time getting her second album produced as a result, despite the fact that she was a

This is almost, ALMOST, as good as the conspiracy theory about Avril Lavigne being dead and replaced by a twin.

Or just SPEND LESS on films! I think it’s especially helpful to look at the action films that have come out where directors have been able to do A LOT with a lot less money. These big tentpoles operate under the assumption that the more money and thus CGI you throw at something the more money it’ll make and forget
