There’s an interesting book that came out a couple years ago by Alan Levinovitz called “The Gluten Lie” about the history of linking certain foods and restricted eating fads with moral concepts of “good” foods and “bad” foods. It seems to exist across cultures and is a documented behavior going back thousands of years.

Interesting. I have no idea why I find these recaps so fascinating. The last time I watched the show was...a long time ago and I thought it was about as interesting as watching paint dry. But I enjoy these recaps.
