Watching The Departed really made me appreciate him. I realized no one had game like his. He even made Matt Damon, who is normally good, seem like he was working so hard just to tread water

I think about these dispensers a lot and find myself wanting to tell my kids: you grated it, see? And made this waxy little pile in the palm of your hand, see?
She’s not. She told a joke similiar to an old Patrice joke making fun of the names of sex positions. His joke came first, but wasn’t exactly patent-pending material. Lots of comics immediately jumped in after this controversy to say there was nothing to this accusation, including many of his friends.
These are good rules, but I’d add narrow suit. It really only works with an equally skinny suit. Everthing has to look knife edge thin. Then, I think it matters less than age.
I kind of think they all look good—pretty, fresh, no crazy. I’d say I’m in but then I think about the other series and its the unnatural botox, bad wigs and drama makeup that I ridicule, so I have to ask if there will be anything to snark?
Her brownies. 4 Real.
My friend’s boyfriend used to joke about giving himself the “peppermint patty” with Dr. Bronner’s on the nethers.
I dunno, she’s like kind of cha-chaing in there? TRIPLE
Yes. You get me. She was terrible. I sort of hope she felt bad when watching herself. Same for strawberry blonde with glasses.
I totally agree. I can’t even remember most of them— they were that bland. Just boring women designers (in particular) whining about how the judges weren’t getting them and that wasn’t their fault. Yes, yes, it is. and then crying about having to go home on a team challenge. The horrors. It’s like they never even…
Awards shows, who’d have thunk? this and the Hozier- Annie Lennox duet at the Grammys make me want to actually tune in.
My great grandma was a Cash. We never got the Cherokee story from her. Of course she spurned that side of the family with their’rough ways.’
I too love the questi-onion, it has so many layers, like my heart. Keep questing, Wiz, but take off the headdress first.
But research has sharpened the focus considerably— FAS seems to be mostly related to alcohol exposure in the 1st trimester and as well as being related to advanced maternal age, poor nutrition, smoking and number of children. So we could probably amend the guidelines to say no alcohol in the 1st 12 weeks with limited…
Research shows that there is no direct correlatation between a woman drinking and a baby with FAS. In some cases of fraternal twins, one child has FAS and the other doesn’t. There’s a generic component we don’t understand, and in all honesty, we can’t separate out the effects of alcohol consumption from the effects of…
I like it too... It’s easy better than the Oregon liquid sugar stuff.
Just fwiw, when I was reading the comments, it just didn’t sound like people were familiar with the complaints against the paper which predate the editorial. So I was summarizing here. That wasn’t clear. These aren’t personal beliefs, but an attempted loose record of the larger conversation. Still, I’m not sure how…
Every time I see this, all I can think about are her pants and how much I want them. Still. Even though it’s pre-winter in New England...
I’ve followed this story a bit, and it does seem like there are long term issues with the paper about the diversity of its editorial staff and writers. Its predominantly white and so is its coverage. So I think part of the story is how appropriate it is to fund a ‘mouthpiece’ that only speaks for a certain set of the…
exactly. The most powerful reply to this op-ed would have been a powerful reply. Conversation is the goal, writing to persuade. These are important skills for college students to absorb and apply.
