Another weekend of getting E rankings on Metal Gear V missions. I don’t know what kojima wants from me!
Haha, so true. I’ve noticed that many webdevelopers don’t even really know how to program. They just follow the protocols on how to set everything up according to how the framework wants it, but that’s not really the same.
Your parents couldn’t decide if they should be happy or mad that their kid liked computers instead of horsing around on the ranch?
Computers are becoming more complex while the level of education is rapidly declining. Computers of the future will be iPads/Android tablets with keyboards. It’s a win-win because corporations will make more money on their locked-in walled-off systems, and governments won’t have to throw away all that beautiful money…
“The whole age of computer has made it where nobody knows exactly what’s going on.”
For now that may be true, but how will it be in 5 years? What is Apple’s plan for the future? Will consumers still use macbooks? I’m sure that Apple is disappointed in the iPad PRO sales. It has not replaced the macbook, but that IS what they want to achieve.
I truly wonder why Apple even keeps the macbook around? If 90% of revenue comes from iOS, then why bother? To please the fans? That’s not working so far...
We’ll never know, but it could also be the other way around. Youtubers could get some shady bot-service to boost views on their videos.
So, it’s very likely that actual human views aren’t down, but the way Youtube measures views has simply improved. I’m sure you can buy YT views somewhere, the same as with FB likes and Twitter followers.
We can only guess... I suppose a business like Konami wouldn’t hang out their dirty laundry. They have nothing to gain. You might even say it’s classy that they don’t smear Kojima’s name through the mud in public.
I’m absolutely interested! But are the games themselves really innovative, or is it just the way you interact with them? So far I haven’t been blown away by VR gameplay videos.
Also disappointing: no innovation in the triple-A segment. I feel like I’m playing the same games over and over again, without ever being surprised by a clever new idea, concept or game mechanic.
Not necessarily no, but in this case I think it does. Quality is represented not just in amount of content either. It’s gameplay first, and attention to detail. In my humble opinion Nintendo is king in this regard - but of course it’s not to everybody’s tastes.
I thought 10%?
I also own a lot of systems, but still don’t agree... I would never out of my own free will work on windows. It’s a UI nightmare, littered with legacy functionality that dates back to windows 95, and sprinkled with all kinds of ideas that are half-implemented. You’re constantly searching, and wondering why something…
As they say, you get what you pay for. $10 buys you a Nintendo-quality game, which is actually very cheap!
Dragon Quest Builders was pretty fun, as far as I played it. I would certainly buy Mario Builders!
This could be pretty cool! Especially if they port all those silly japanese arcade machines.
But I like pixel art...
Pachinko is amazing. Players easily spend $10 a minute without blinking. Apparently, you need to slot in around $60 before you even have any chance of staying in the game.
