Except when the guests are all obscure BBC-only stars... then it collapses somewhat. But he IS really good at improvising.

Wow that looks so cool, how does it not collapse under its own weight? Also: it’s Lego not Legos.... (sorry... )

Except that there isn’t Burnout!

Also, why not just put a real fence there, or just a sign: ‘no shops on parking lot’...

I don’t get it... if the parking lot is rented by E3, they can just prohibit anyone from setting up shop there.

I’m thinking about a UI that knows what kind of player you are (perhaps just by letting you select that yourself). It could guide you, instead of overwhelming you. It could present choices at the moment you’re ready for them. Many web/mobile apps already do that and it makes for a much smoother experience.

Good to hear that not everybody hates this movie, but I just can’t bring myself to watch it. It just seems so hollow - a generic, predictable dime-a-dozen fantasy romp filled with Hollywood clichés - because those sell so well on the Chinese market (yes, I read that article). Until I can watch it on Netflix while also

Criminals are to blame for police doing police work. Damn you, criminals!

And why criminals are to blame for crime!

I don’t see why complex mechanics can’t have a smart UI that adapts itself to the level of the user... Trying to cram every little thing in one big bucket of buttons only means that nobody ever gave much thought to it. Actually, even simple games often have clunky and cumbersome UI! (most FPS shooters on consoles, for

We’re only one step away from p-day.... the day that potatoes gained self-consciousness...

I got stuck on Crusader Kings for that exact reason: the interface is incomprehensible.

I hope so! I really want to like this game and I probably will!

“At every single moment, X-Men: Apocalypse feels like it’s racing to the next point. As a result, very little in the movie actually gets explored or enjoyed.”

Do not mention The Last Guardian anymore before it is released, please.

Personally I never really cared that much for 1st party games... I’d rather have every game released on every platform. I bought a PS4 instead of an XBox because I simply like the design better, it’s less noisy, it’s smaller, and the UI doesn’t try to sell me Doritos and Mountain Dew.

To me a console is : “switch on and play” while a pc is : “switch on, download 34 security patches, install new graphics card driver, check if your FPS is as good as people on youtube say it should be, if not, go into settings and adjust the mipmap-dithering distance to have more or less anti aliasing, spend a few

But... 2 or 3 years after you bought your gaming PC, you will also want to replace the graphics card, cpu, or whatnot? A graphics card costs the same as a new PS4....

I think I tried that one. It works, but I also remember not finding a free spot when I needed it the most :’-( Or standing at the 7-11, getting a message “your session has expired” and all that @(!#$)! Arrrggghhh!

I fear that after a while of exploring, you’ll start to see repeating patterns, where the random values are just getting filled in differently for every planet.
