Distance has a lot to do with it. I have to walk 5 minutes to get to a big supermarket. I have to bicycle 10 minutes to get to my work. I don’t need a car. But I do live in a consumerist and materialist society.

Communism only means that you can’t criticise ‘the party’. Not if you want te remain in it. So we can all freely accept bribes for appointing building contracts. Just don’t make it TOO obvious. Not ALL press is completely government-controlled yet.

Not only that but often those millions somehow find their way back into the politician’s own pockets, so everybody wins! Who cares that we have some empty building somewhere down in the countryside.

Free trade and free market economy has always been advocated as the holy grail by republican/right wing politicians. But when all these liberal ideas create the dystopian hell we see today in China, and cause US companies to funnel their funds (and pay taxes) abroad, we need government regulations?

I expected Diablo to be a fun romp through zombie and dragon infested lands, with an entertaining storyline and highly playable game mechanics.

Well I liked Pod Racing. Also, young anakin is less annoying than whiny-anakin.

It’s a fun game because of the theme, music and design. But I found the actual gameplay quite repetitive, and lacking depth. Often it would be unclear what you were supposed to be doing too.

For the love of god I can’t understand all the FO4 “disappointment” articles. What the ???

Ah! A remote! That thing with hundreds of unclear buttons that I use to switch HDMI inputs!

But wings don’t serve any function in space... and in an atmosphere, why would you not expand the wings? Does a fighter have any other purpose besides fighting?
