Remember Kotaku, that you call this game the disappointment of the year....

Completely agreed. Calling Fallout IV a disappointment of the year is a bit much! Especially when placed next to real disappointments like the disappearance of Silent Hills. Kotaku is sending a very mixed message, calling the game great, really cool, and then constantly whining about it. Yes, Fallout is perhaps more

Just continuing your train of thought, no offense meant.

And spelling from Calvin...

I sometimes boot up Steam, but am immediately repelled by its horrid user interface. Rows upon rows of buttons that contain half the functionality you’d expect. The other half is randomly buried in some other menu. I don’t even see what the problem is. It’s just a website with some games on it. It can’t be THAT hard

FO4 is exactly what you’d expect (a bit like Star Wars?). It’s great, and I think it’s the most immersive, believable open world game there is. But it’s not that different from FO3, it just looks better. I haven’t played anything else since I got it :)

Why? But yes, this is a fantastic game, although one might also argue that most user levels are either too easy or too hard... the “Nintendo balance” is hard to get right! The editor is also great fun to use.

But the strange thing is... you CAN’T search for level codes or even search for user names! Making it still hard to find the 20 favorite kotaku levels: http://kotaku.com/20-excellent-m…

Sorry, but Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep should be #1...

Perhaps a memorial should be erected

I read this article twice.

I was planning to get this game in a few months from now, when the price goes down... wonder if that’s even an option if servers are already emptying now...

I wouldn’t be surprised if the NX is a VR headset :)

Yes, I really love wandering around the small shop areas in Yakuza 1 and 2. Just listening to people talking and browsing the shops! How much more immersion do you need?

Ah man I really love the yakuza games! Such a shame that the localization is often lacking or the games simply aren’t released outside Japan at all.. :(. Which games in the series will be (re)playable on the PS4? I don’t want to keep an old PS3 around just to play yakuza.

Who ever came up with the idea that restricting movement would add to a fun gameplay experience?

Yeah it was sad to see the series deteriorate into ever shorter mini-adventures that lacked the huge open world and fun weaponry of the first three games.

Not sure I like the smoothed lines in Day of the Tentacle. There’s nothing wrong with the original pixel art. Monkey Island on iPad did manage to improve on the old-style pixel art, but even then I don’t really see the necessity. You could even switch back to pixel art at any time during the game.

Why the prison-gate fences?

Yay! I really loved the “Milkman” part of Psychonauts 1. That was so well-written! The platforming levels were the weakest part, I hope they can improve on the mechanics and not just focus on the story!
