My ex-boss and the person I hate most in the world is running for Congress. And there’s a decent chance he’ll win. It enrages me to see his stupid, phony social media posts. He’s not even half as smart as he thinks he is. I hate that mediocre men can always succeed.

I went from a $90k/yr firm job to a $52k/yr non-profit job, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. I’ve been able to go off anti-anxiety meds, and I cry a LOT less now.

I used to be a regular listener and then had to quit because it got sobad. I did listen to the My Favorite Murder crossover, though, and I thought she was MUCH better than she was when I stopped listening, if that gives you any indication of how bad it got.

In my own personal opinion/experience, the only way to have an attorney job you’re passionate about is to take a massive pay cut. High paying attorney jobs will fucking suck your soul right out of you. The money is good, but literally everything else is terrible.

I saw them on tour this summer, and my friend asked if I thought they were for real or if it was all an act. I think it’s real because why would you tour together if you hated each other?

I spent the exact same amount of time in graduate school that my sister did. I went to law school, though, not med school. We have roughly the same amount on loans. I make 1/5th of what she makes.

Is this a joke? My sister is a dermatologist. She works four days a week, 8 to 4. She makes over a quarter of a million dollars a year. Physicians are compensated very well in this country.

On Saturday morning my neighbor partied on her deck with at least three other people from 2:30 am to about 6:00 am. Shouting nonstop. She’s a grandmother in her 40s. I don’t see how that it possible without drugs. I’m 34 and I can’t stay up past 2 am to save my life.

I was in a very similar situation earlier this year. My high school alma mater (a small, private Christian school) allowed the commencement speaker to give his speech while wearing a MAGA hat.
