I think our society conditions young woman to feel “miserable” about being single even when a relationship isn’t what they really want. The feeling miserable comes from feeling like you’re doing life wrong and letting every down. It doesn’t come from not having a boyfriend.

A lot of people (not people here, just people in general) seem to have trouble with the concept of how we can love our dogs like children but also recognize that they are not human children and not equal to human children.

Agreed. I stopped listening to her podcast after that dog story broke. Then she was a guest on another podcast I listen to and I just suddenly found her insufferable. Plus there was one episode of her podcast that made me 95% sure Pratt is a Trump supporter (although I don’t think she is).
