Why is it infuriating? I reached my opinion based in part on hearing Adnan himself talk, and a whole host of other information the jury never got to hear. Besides, I'm not a juror. I'm a person listening to a podcast. I'm convinced he killed her. My opinion means nothing.
The fact that Adnan never tried to reach Hae after she disappeared clinched it for me. I remember hearing that and thinking "okay, yeah, he totally did it."

I don't think Jay is all that sketchy, really. And why would he kill Hae? I think Adnan roped him in because Jay had a reputation of being a liar and a bullshitter, and Adnan counted on people believing him, the golden child, over Jay.
