I wish I was Jay.

Interesting, I haven't listened yet. It seemed weird to me that Adnan wouldn't call Hae given (1) he'd called her the day before and (2) the police had called him to ask about if he'd seen her.

I will be the first to admit that the reasons I think he did it are not reasons that would support a guilty verdict beyond a reasonable doubt. But I think there is more than enough there to point to his guilt. The biggest thing is that I just don't think there's a viable alternate suspect. I don't see any motive for

Why is it infuriating? I reached my opinion based in part on hearing Adnan himself talk, and a whole host of other information the jury never got to hear. Besides, I'm not a juror. I'm a person listening to a podcast. I'm convinced he killed her. My opinion means nothing.

The fact that Adnan never tried to reach Hae after she disappeared clinched it for me. I remember hearing that and thinking "okay, yeah, he totally did it."

YES. Every time people say something about how he's not capable of it I'm just like "are you for real?!"

I don't think Jay is all that sketchy, really. And why would he kill Hae? I think Adnan roped him in because Jay had a reputation of being a liar and a bullshitter, and Adnan counted on people believing him, the golden child, over Jay.

Yes, me too. I don't know if he should have been convicted on the trial evidence but I'm convinced he did it.

I don't disagree about the verdict. I don't know if I could have found that he was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. But there's just no plausible alternative. Jay was involved, he knew where Hae's car was. Jay has no motive and as far as we know was never involved into another violent crime like this. Adnan's cell

Adnan killed her. I am honestly baffled by the number of people that have a hard time believing this.

Well, you have a right to represent yourself, and you have a right to confront your accusers, so it happens. The judge has the ability to keep the questions in check, the tone appropriate, etc.

Let me let you in on a secret: no sane person who talks about "parenting" a dog thinks it's the same as parenting a human child. Usually we're just trying to find common ground with other people who are also 100% responsible for taking care of a living creature that they love unconditionally. Apparently that attempt

I hope they court martial him for insubordination.*

I used to have bad work anxiety. I finally just talked to my general practitioner about it. She prescribed generic Prozac AND IT CHANGED EVERYTHING. So easy, so simple. I recommend just starting there, honestly. It's about $10 a month without insurance even.

For me it's guns, dirt bikes, or goatees. I live in Idaho, so basically I'm saying that I will die alone.

My sister wants a German Shorthaired Pointer, and I found a litter in my area, so she is coming over in the morning to check this one out! I am so excited! I'VE GOT THE PUPPY FEVER!

When I got my goldendoodle, the breeder originally told me she had only males left, so I spent the whole drive there thinking of male names and I really wanted to go with Weasley since the pups all had red hair when they were born. Then I got there and they had one female available after all so I chose her. I really

I agree to a point. There are some human names that work on dogs but some that just do not. I met a dog at the dog park once named Megan. MEGAN. Who names their dog Megan?

Dogs are insane. Mine ate a package of steel wool. STEEL WOOL. I didn't even know she'd gotten into it until she barfed it up in the middle of the night and then later pooped out another bunch of it.
