Speaking of which, I just watched the pilot for TWD and the zombies were SO much better. It just shows this crap is filmed on the cheap. I watched the entire first season of TWD and was amazed at how much better the zombies were and how good the show used to be. Technically, the zombies from the first season of TWD

I definitely would not be eating anything Celia was making.

Root was always team machine. Her change came from the machine urging her to, so I understood Root's transformation. Elias I never liked after he screwed over Reese with that baby, especially after Reese and Finch saved his life. Elias always struck me as being very resentful of owing Reese and Finch. The best thing

Does anyone not trust Elias? I've never liked him after what he did to Reese with that baby episode. I still do not like him.

His dwellings look intentionally dirty and being that he's a doctor/surgeon and all.

Can Frankenstein clean his place?

Yeah, that's what I want to know.

It's appropriate, since Hectate is the goddess of witchcraft in Greek mythology.

Also, there are fresh dead on TWD who look a lot better than these zombies. It's pretty obvious this show doesn't have TWD's make-up and special effects budget.

Nick is using zombie guts to turn his hair into dreads.

That's it!

I'm not talking about the scenes with Daniel.

Not that scene! I'm talking about Celia's dead family chomping on something when Madison locked her in.

So was his mother seeing them the same way? Because she's the one who locked Celia in the wine cellar with the make-free zombies.

I'm watching a show for zombies. I watch Penny Dreadful for good writing and substance.

No, but they didn't even look pale. I understand these aren't TWD zombies, but they should look dead.

At least not on camera. I think the audience is supposed to think Celia got eaten by her friends and family.

It is and shows how cheap the production is. Night filming is just too expensive for their budget.

Did anyone notice how cheap the zombie make-up was in this episode? There were a few zombies with no make-up at all and just looked like stoners in a wine cellar. Can't the producers get a make-up budget for this show at all?

They already have with this Mexican excursion.
