It reminded me of "Conduit" and Mulder crying in the church with him saying over the credits, "I want to believe."

I loved "Humbug" and it's underlying theme of perfect genetics and loved it when Dr. Blockhead gives that soliloquy about perfection and looks at Mulder is priceless.

Darin Morgan was my favorite writer.

Did you notice how they are playing up their relationship? Scully is all concerned about Mulder and looking at him longingly, and she falls and he's all over her. I don't know what to make of that.

This episode made me cry! It reminded me so much of "Conduit" where Mulder is crying in a church looking at a picture of his sister Samantha. I'm used to Scully crying about William, but this is the first time Mulder shows his dreams for their son. It's shaping up to look a lot like what made me fall in love with the

Heath is going to die by the end of the season. The actor who plays him, Corey Hawkins, is going to be in the 24 reboot on Fox.

I think both DD and GA have.

Carter said he didn't know why DD said that Mulder and Scully were married, but I know why, because in the limo Mulder makes references to the marriage vows "death do us part" and looks at Scully. Was that a DD ad lib (he's famous for them) or was that written into script?

No he's just an extremely depressed middle-aged guy, but how does he afford anything when he doesn't work? What is the inside joke about him not having a car?

I thought it was finding William, which will leave it open for more episodes.

Mulder has done it a few times. Rinse, lather, repeat.

Yes, many times. I think Mulder or Skinner have a drawer of them somewhere.

The best part of the office shot was seeing the pencils in the ceiling!

Yeah and how are they going to get rehired by the FBI? Mulder and Scully left as wanted criminals; besides they sucked as agents by never arresting anyone or solving anything.

"Home" and "Humbug"

I'm surprised they didn't bring up the election of 2000.

Yeah, Carter needs to retire.

Totally!

Totally! The mythology episodes just suck and are far too convoluted now. Carter & Company don't even remember them right. This was all explained in the 1998 movie and the end of the series. Humans are supposed to actually be part alien, but now that seems to be changed…again. Scully was not abducted by aliens, but

I always thought the alien stuff was stupid, but stuck around for Scully and Mulder together. I loved the fact the original opening credits were used. It was amazing to spend a Sunday night with them again.
