If a parent asks a teacher to do this, I believe they owe the teacher a bottle of their favorite type of wine and a gift card.

I feel like that’s certainly reasonable enough! I love it when packages have both serving size (ideal) and serving size (whole thing). I see it on bottles of soda sometimes? It’s helpful for real.
It’s really really really hard. For me (a person that is again, on and off the wagon a TON but at one point lost 50 lbs) I found that finding bulky options that were still low in calorie helpful. So like, eating a ton of cucumbers or wasa crackers* and laughing cow cheese something. It’s certainly NOT chips, but it…
I’m in total agreement but I’m curious what that would do to the “body” of the ice cream. I know sugar makes it freeze ‘wetter’ but curious what a higher fat percentage (compared to the whole) would do.
Yeah, as someone who is constantly off/on the wagon of eating less- I honestly think that Halo Top is for folks who need to eat ice cream AND are people who don’t do moderation as well (which is sometimes me!).
I think Gwen fumbles at egg rolls specifically (I’d think that a beef and broccoli would be a smarter choice if you wanted to stay with Chinese) but her other picks are so good, that to me, she wins by a landslide.
The thing about Kate is that every time she writes something it makes me feel like she has to be one of the best people on takeout to be friends with. Her love of both high and low brow things is a delight. So, Kate, thanks for this new weirdness and have a great day.
This is incredible. Thank you. Lifehacker needs to pay you to write this up and post it as an article, I think.
Wish you could somehow do Christmas at Thanksgiving and then take all the stuff your kids don’t want/need to a place like toys for tots- then everyone would be happier (so long as the in-laws never knew.)
This really does feel like you’ve found the best case scenario. Getting real mail does make you feel loved. It even would make them laugh (if it’s a postcard from basically the town you live in) and feel remembered and loved. And your goober gets to feel important and part of it all.
Your wit is noted, even if we still disagree.
I believe the same thing goes for dogs. My dog doesn’t know it’s her Name, but she knows it as the sound that means “attention please”.
You had me in the first half (agree with you about dogs) but what you say about cats is clearly the ramblings of a very hurt person.
Came into these comments for this tea.
Did you even read the [part of the article] he’s quoting or the article at all?
Yikes. Oh well, I liked his column but it was just reposting reader stories... and is that even a step up from just reposting things from ask reddit?
Thank you so much for the link. Mystery solved. :)
Since you’re kind of balking at the same, they’re called Senbei (or as my mom always called O senbei) mix. If you can’t say or remember the name, Japanese snack mix might be a better alternative since these crunchy bits of heaven are Japanese rice crackers. My grandma was Japanese and I was raised on these lovely…
