Less mad about the Viper colour than the incredibly poor framing of the thumbnail.

Anecdotal evidence, but I noticed between my kids and their friends. The kids that are restricted by their parents in what they can eat, always over endulge at parties and get stuffed. I dont restrict my kids, there may be 10 one gallot tubs of icecream, cakes, all sorts of delicious stuff... they’ll just feel like an…
I’d love to, you know, pay off my house and credit cards and buy a reasonably nice car, and put away money to send my kids to college. And be able to take a vacation in the summer.
Like, I would love to come into some money and be able to live *comfortably* yet *modestly*. And then there’s these fucks just tossing money at things that they probably won’t have ten years from now because this is how they spend it.
Iodine is something added to salt that a lot of people do not get enough so I like to use both once in awhile. It is never added to sea salt you need to grind. It is for thyroid health.
Personally, I just keep 50 pound salt licks next to all the different places in my house I typically eat. Bite of food, lick off the ol’ salt lick. Bite of food, lick off the ol salt lick. Sometimes you take a lick or two off the ol’ salt lick while you’re watching television just because.
A salt grinder is such a pointless thing to have. It makes less sense than having your own bacon slicer and buying your bacon unsliced. Ground pepper loses some aromatics over time so it’s better to grind it fresh, but salt is salt.
Why a salt cellar? Why not a Himalayan salt lamp?
Meanwhile, I was far more excited and interested when they announced it was going to be first person. Third person is a game, first person is an experience
Those dishonored games really brought something to the genre.
some people just hate first person. period. its gives us headaches, and if you like designing your character and making them a part of the world, especially with the importance of aesthetics in the cyberpunk settings. then its preferable. its not going to change at this point, and as people mentioned, it may get…
GTA doesn’t do anything without a problem...
It could be done. It just wouldn’t look as good as focusing on one point of view. It’s hard to explain it without technical background in this stuff.
Ugh, that is why I dislike 3rd-person stealth so much, it breaks the immersion of stealth.
I didn’t even pay attention to Cyberpunk until maybe the last few months and made two very big assumptions. It would be in 3rd Person since that’s what CD Projekt Red excelled at with The Witcher series. The other being it would push the shit out of my recently built high-end PC. At least I got one assumption right?…
I’d kill for a 3rd person mode but I get why they didn’t go ahead with one. If it plays anything like Dishonoured and Thief, I wouldn’t mind and from the looks of things that’s exactly how it seems to play. And as consolation, the vehicle sections are in 3rd person which I truly appreciate. Also it’s CDPR. They know…
How did you only just now find out? It’s been one of the main controversies of the game since they told the public like two years ago. Personally I don’t really see what the big deal is - I think it makes a lot more sense for it to be first person considering the style of game. Would you want System Shock 2 to be…
Unfortunately, very rare is the game that can offer both perspectives and have them both be good. Usually, at least one (and sometimes, both due to the split resources) is just not very good.
As already pointed out below, the third person option would pretty quickly turn in to a nightmare if they want to give the player the option to change the body proportions or physically augment themselves in the game. There’s a reason why almost every third-person RPG sticks to that body shape when it comes to the MC.
I love stealth in first person cause it is realistic. I like coming around a corner and straight into a guy I didn’t notice. I will say that dishonored has the best first person stealth ever.
