I’m currently playing all the AC games through on PC to get ready for Valhalla. AC1 took me 13 hours to do all the story Assassination’s and pickup all the side quests. In 13 hours on AC2 I just got to my 3rd city (Florence, Monterrigioni, Forli) and I’ve only dealt with a 3rd of the Templar conspirators. My point is

Reading up this morning about Hana Kimura’s (Japanese pro wrestler/Terrace House... participant? contestant?) passing. I’ll leave the details aside, just... be good to each other, folks.

On the other hand, an episodic series like BeBop does make it easier to introduce to someone new to the genre. They get immediate story payoff, minimizing the chance they lose interest and stop watching before a show really gets rolling. It also makes it much easier to jump directly to a better episode in the series

Not deep enough. As in almost all competitive sport this is the surface picture. The deeper picture is that revenues are skewed to the influential historical teams, and against upstarts trying to challenge the status quo. You see it football, the world’s biggest sport. The only well balanced system is the NBA, where

While I agree with the Bebop being better than Champloo... Space Dandy fits the theme of the article better than both of them. Holy shit is that show so bonkers and insanely easy to binge.

I am guessing that the author has assumed the Cowboy Bebop bullet has already been shot (as mentioned in paragraph 3). It seems like a reasonable assumption.

Hating on SAO is one of the most anime hipsterish thing there is. So throwing that in while trying to discredit someone else’s opinion doesn’t do you want favours.

but the anime for furries makes the list. Uh-huh

I think the serialization and long-term story of Champloo was way better than Bebop’s, simply because the former presents a clear goal from the start and the latter is episodic by nature. I straight-up do not care about Vicious and Bebop reeeeeeeally wants me to despite spending huge swaths of time without him.

What about you? What series (of the non-Bebop variety) have you used to finally win people in your life over to watching anime?

Bebop is mentioned at the top of the article as the show that everyone recommends to newcomers, so I assume it’s the article’s de facto ninth recommendation

Until now I felt alone enjoying the truncated version. I prefer when things get to the point.

On the flipside, the internet as we know it couldn’t exist is companies were held responsible for the actions of private individuals using their services.

That is what is currently going through the courts with regards to knock-offs on Amazon.

This goes back to Perfect 10 v. Mastercard. It’s a secondary liability case. Though, I mean, “looking too much like,” is a hell of a standard for secondary liability.

People sell their Minecraft creations?? People buy other people's Minecraft creations???

I mean, he’s a shit guy. Don’t get me wrong. But it’s certainly worth calling out China’s total lack of regard for intellectual property theft. You know these guys aren’t getting third party licenses to manufacture these from Sony.

Where was the original working dual shock made?
