Three words.... dealer installed option. Most modern car manufacturers are not taking advantage of this the way that they used to back in the 60s and 70s. Have all of this as kits available to the dealers the owner can put it on before the car is purchased and still roll it into financing if they want to still

I sort of agree with you. As far as no reason, you’re wrong, the reason is money. As far as find a way to do it themselves, not so sure, most people are lazy and won’t bother. Plus even if they do Alpine loses out on that money. However, having it available as a dealer installed option I think that would be genius. No

Yes, that’s the main reason I bought my crosstrek. I just like the look of it better than an Impreza. I was already in the market for an Impreza limited so a crosstrek limited only ended up costing me $400 more total MSRP. no brainer!

Just FYI you need a patch/plug to repair any tire “correctly”. It is not considered best practice to use a simple plug anymore. If you happen to have a blowout on a tire with a plug most insurance companies will call it an improper repair and not cover any subsequent damage or crash. I’ve spent the past nine years as

That’s one of the main reasons why I don’t like the new minis, anything newer than first gen S53. They got bigger more round and bloated looking with fake hood scoops and the brakes require giant wheels. I was able to run 16s on my 05 Cooper S JCW

195/50 16 Would give you same total circumference as your original 205/40 17 while giving 5mm more sidewall than the 205/45s

They look fine as long as you make sure that you size up the sidewalls correctly. A lot of times people will stick with the same width and not get the right size total diameter. For instance if downsizing from 215/40 17 to a 16 inch wheel most people will simply purchase a 215/45 16. But that will end up too small.

I had a 2005 mini Cooper S that came stock with 215/40 17s I switched to 205/50 16’s, saved almost 10 pounds a corner and couldn’t of been happier with the handling and ride

Isn’t the LS basically just the Homo sapiens to the Chevy 350s Homo habilis? Also the idea of one of the Yamaha SHO V6 is in a Sylvia sounds amazing

I might be wrong but I thought that Toyota and Subaru were also jointly developing the next generation WRX and that the Toyota version was going to be a new Celica GT four that was supposedly why the next WRX was going to be a two door

I’m gonna push my glasses up my nose and say, well actually, the supra was a Celica with a six cylinder. Just joking

This too. If you wind it out and only shift near max RPM and keep it wound out it is amazing but that doesn’t really work for real world driving so…

Yes, yes, yes, yes this 10% this! it has more power than any Miata and nobody has ever bitched about their power it just has a really shitty torque curve

And neither ever actually will so who made the better decision

Yeah except it’sYeah except it’s not actually what’s happening at all quite the opposite in fact

Seems like you didn’t readSeems like you didn’t read the article at all one of the major things they did was ban cars from city centers

The result: When the turn signal stalk is in the neutral position, it can be doing one of three things: It can be completely off, it can be using the lane-changer, or it can be using the full turn signal. And there’s absolutely no tactile way to know which is which.”

As far as looks go the best looking Ferrari I’ve ever seen in person was an F355 Spyder that was painted metallic sky blue and had a dark navy blue interior and fabric top

Once again! The obligatory Jalopnik article about the mustard channel YouTube video about a week after the video premieres on YouTube

I understand your point but I one hundred percent understand the point of OP too. there’s some jeeps you see in parking lots and you can look underneath them and there’s always places that will never be totally clean once they’ve been off Road and you can just tell that this vehicle has never been off the road
