Yes

How did they upped the price

And also get a larger, heavier unit with worse battery life that is also more fragile. I’m sorry but the whole “this is not for me equals this is stupid” is just flawed thinking

It’s not vague at all if you watch the video they specifically mentioned that you’ll be able to connect normal joy cons or a pro controller to it no problem

How was it overpriced?? It cost the same as a 3DS XL and those don’t even come with charging cables

It’s only marginally bigger than a 3DS XL, cost the same (actually comes with a charging cable) and allows tons and tons of parents and children to replace an aging handheld that has no more games coming out for it with the newest hottest thing whether that be a second unit for a household or the first unit for a

That was basically my take (except I wouldn’t put it past Nintendo to lock this functionality out with software) assuming there’s not a specific chip inside the regular switch. Plus from a business perspective why would they do that unless they were going to sell a new dock with a pro controller in a bundle for about

Then why do you need the HDMI?

I suspect, (and this is only a hypothesis at this time until these are in the wild and people are able to mess around with it) but it seems plausible that they simply didn’t want to create a new dock that would fit this and (unless they’ve locked it out with software, Which let’s be realistic this is Nintendo so they

Same here, I have probably used mine in handheld mode less than 10 times since I got it on launch day yet I have a friend who has literally not taken his dock out of the plastic yet and he got his right behind me in line on day one

Nah, honestly it seems to be about 50-50. About half the people pretty much only use handheld about half the people pretty much only use TV and very few people that I know commonly and frequently do both

What’s so amusing to me is that out of all of the people that I know that own a switch it seems close to half of them use it almost exclusively in handheld mode the other half use it almost exclusively in TV mode with just one or two outliers that frequently do both.

if you already own a switch and you are a single person it’s probably not for you but as a parent who owns a switch I will definitely be buying one of these for my son because it is cheaper probably sturdier and allows us to have multiple people in the household playing at the same time and two I have a friend who

That’s definitely one of their Ames and it’s going to work. My wife and I have already decided to buy one of these for my son when sword and shield comes out and we already have a switch

How is it a rip off? It cost the same as a 3DS XL and that doesn’t even come with a charger. You could say that you don’t believe that it’s worth it you could say that you wouldn’t buy one but it’s definitely not a “rip off”

Me, we’re definitely going to buy one as a second switch for my son when Pokémon comes out

Don’t forget that just the bank bail out re-distributed to the adult population of US citizens over the age of 18 would’ve resulted in over $300,000 per person, what do you think would’ve been better for the economy giving the banks all this money to squander, again. or giving every single adult US citizen $300k with

Fuck you, for bringing politics into this, fuck them, for their bullshit. both of these cars look like “generic video game super car” and frankly other than the vaguest of similarities they look nothing alike especially past the A pillar

All true but this one actually looks good. (I actually really like the look of the i3 too but it’s too expensive)

Except you’re ignoring the facts that you’re lengthening your stopping distance, reducing your reaction time, and creating a situation where somebody might plainly see you coming but reasonably think they have more time to pull out in front of you than they actually do because you’re going much higher than the speed
