I loved season 1 of this show. But… As far as season 2 goes, maybe the director and writer are above me, but I feel lost at times. It's almost as if they're trying to come off edgy and smart while forgetting the story in the process. It just seems all over the place and too many monologues, non sequiturs and just

I completely agree with your review. It seems this whole season has had issues with the mismanagement of prolonging plot lines at various times and rushing them at others. Admittedly, I'm a book reader. But why Benjen would just drop Bran off at a tree and the first thing Bran does is connect with the tree right at

This Jon battle scene will be shown in film directing classes for decades. Brilliant work.

Interesting point. A younger actor would have made that scene more believable, but who's to say. Ramsey's a bitch with a bow.

Yes. I can see that. I thought Sansa may have kept the information to herself because she's never been taken seriously and probably knew that Jon would discourage her from doing so. In that respect, I thought it made sense.

Please don't mistake my post. It was sarcasm.

But while someone sees Sansa as out of character, I see her as coming into her own. I think this whole season has been a little bit about characters coming into their own. In doing so, some will make moves that may appear against the grain or not consistent with past behavior. I recognize some of the differences,

I don't disagree with you, but feel we need to take things with a grain of salt at this point. Characters behaviors will change as the show only has about 16 episodes left. I think we need to lower the magnification on our microscopes a bit.

Yes. Either way it's a tough call. If they went against the grain, reviewers would be bitching that it was so predictable seeing that they would do something we didn't expect (e.g., see Arya Fight Clubbing herself).

It's pure sexism. Am I right? If it was Tyrion sitting on the horse with Littlefinger, this episode would be an A+.

That's because your human. And Jon Snow is…well…Jon Snow. Really, comparing yourself to a television character? How dare thou.

37 days. smh

It seems insane to question the logic of characters at this point where the show has out wrote the books. Just a thought.

Littlefinger is not evil for the sake of being evil. If he can benefit from a move, he'll make it. Clearly having Sansa and Jon as a companion for a debt owed is far more valuable than finishing off Sansa and Jon for Ramsey where he would never know where he truly stands.

I just watched the battle scene for a second time and it's one of the best televised battle scenes ever framed. There's so many great shots like when Jon falls off his arrow-riddled horse, or his POV of facing the battle coming at him, or him stumbling all over the battle field. I really don't know how everyone

This episode saved the season and may be up there with one of the best yet. Absolutely fantastic and exhausting!

Anytime someone quotes Misery that's an up-vote in my book. "HE DIDN'T GET OUT OF THE COCKADOODIE CAR!"

It also negates the emotional impact out of anything these characters feel. If someone who gets stabbed is capable of healing in a few, how can I get emotional about anything that happens to them short of death. If someone had told me they had new writers for this episode, I wouldn't have doubted it for a second.

As others have noted, seeing Arya being chased was right on par with the T-1000 chasing Sarah Connor. And one never felt that Arya was in real danger - if she's capable of healing that fast, what's the worst that could happen to her? I also questioned whether Arya actually led the Waif to that spot or if she just

So far it's a "what could of been" season. Really disappointed in the writing. So many ""what could have been" epic moments only to really let us down. Book readers and non-book readers alike. And now it looks like Jon is such a pansy in the next episode that I'm already feeling disappointed.
