Did my time machine land in 2012? This episode was actually somewhat funny. I may have even laughed out loud a few times. Granted I was a little nervous at first with the whole focus on the "white Christmas" and the Celsius snafu, but as the show rolled on, it was actually enjoyable.

I found it especially amusing how in the lower right corner of my screen ABC was attempting to trick my mind with their ABC - Funny logo. I felt like I was on the wrong network for 30 minutes.

Why would Grace want to represent that her mom's firm was anything than it already was? The recipients of cold calling where turning away solicitations if they didn't sound like they were from a busy office? Ludicrous.

I really don't buy the Andy and Haley connection. She would have seemed way out of his league years ago (for physical reasons) and now seems way out of his league for intellectual reasons (he still acts like a kid and she somewhat matured). It's an odd fit that culminated in a Rachel and Ross moment at the end of

Isn't every immunity idol challenge Joe's to lose?

Yea, this makes complete sense. She was still holding a grudge from the couple of times he wrote her name down. She was otherwise non-existent in this episode. Interesting edit.

Woo wasn't a great player (socially or intellectually) so I'm not disappointed that he's gone. It is a little sad that he went just because Ciera didn't want to be a pawn? It amazes me that she just sat there and said nothing when Savage mentioned it, but then behind then behind the scenes she's telling how bad it

I thought the writing fell flat in this episode. It seemed like any other sitcom where Black-ish typically tends to raise the bar. The mean cousin bit was weak and Strahan wasn't necessary. It would have been more fun to get more co-worker interaction than create new one-time bit characters who apparently have more

Another fine episode. Questions though:
1. What was the statement about the spaceship about from Skip when talking to the police. It seemed like such a non-sequitur.
2. What was Peggy's original reason for leaving the accident? I honestly can't remember now?

I've been pretty hard on this show as of late, but this episode was just awful. Either the actors are mailing it in or the writers, or possibly both. This show was so bad I thought I was watching a re-run.

8 over/under
Number of episodes until Lemond Bishop shows up again

I didn't hate this episode, but it was probably the weakest of the three. There were several "where is this going" moments. That being said, I do enjoy watching Stamos in this type of character. Not because he's the greatest actor of the cast, but his comedic timing is typically spot on and he still has a charm

Josh Peck makes this show almost unwatchable.

I would have been more concerned that family night seemed to consist of the family watching an episode of Ray Donovan. I cringe wondering if it was the episode where Jon Voight sniffed cocaine off a naked woman's ass. Pass the popcorn Lizzie.

Duck village??? Are you kidding me! Phil's done some fairly off-the-wall things in the past, but this mini duck village was just over-the-top. Sometimes it's hard to tell if this show is grounded in a fictional or non-fictional context. What a missed opportunity with Lily's talents.

The problem with this show is it still feels it needs sight gags (e.g., robot Phil). The best episodes of Modern Family are those that are sprinkled with an occasional hi-jinx. This show doesn't need the "in your face" goofiness. It's no coincidence that often times the best part of the show is the last five

I thought this was a very satisfying episode. "A". I couldn't have been happier that Mike won. It was well-deserved and I loved the call-out at the jury questions. Also loved the fire burning challenge finish (even though neither one of them deserved to win). Lastly, Probst calling out Dan and Will and not letting

This episode was worthy of a "C". Not sure why all of the Modern Family love around here (do you ever give it less than a "B"?) Although all three story arcs tried to hit emotional high notes I felt they all fell flat. There was very little viewer investment in the entire show even after all of these years of

This was not only the best episode of the season thus far, but potentially one of the top ten ever. The tribal council was fantastic. The looks on their faces was priceless. Worthy of an "A" even if the message for the challenge was a little odd and senseless.

It's almost cliche at this point. All divorced women must have sex with Louie.
