"...offer considerably greater track performance combined with user friendliness and good road manners."
@Kidblinks: Actually the first month comes with the full retail version. Not sure about those smaller starter packs, though. I thought that was standard with boxed MMOs?
Here's something to expand on their toolbar suggestion:
How many of these accidents involved fatalities where the driver of the offending vehicle just happened to absolutely disappear, with the local law enforcement agency "working hard on finding the criminal" while eating donuts and watching TV at their desk?
Just like Absolute Virtue, I'm sure there's some hidden way to make Pandemonium Warden much easier that no one is thinking of. It's a little disturbing that most of the strategies are so straight forward on bosses. SE tries to get us to think and our answer is to try and burn it.
The '53 from the Craigslist posting alone. That was sheer classic gold.
@linoth:

I'll admit that my first reaction to this would also have been to be pissed. That's... a little far for a prank. But looking through the photos, the nostrils were added after the paint, so I suppose there's a slim chance they'll come off without damaging the hood too much. The license plate and hubcaps are easily…
I sit in line to keep things rolling efficiently, but I also make sure I'm fairly close to the car in front of me at all times to discourage merging from a "side-zoomer," known as selfimportanticus dickwadarus. So what does that make me?
@der13manner: You actually can't manage your account via the Playonline website AT ALL. Signing up, adding services, and cancelling services are all performed through the PlayOnline application. So this kid was bright enough to sign up but not bright enough to cancel all through the same service.
As someone logged into the game right now soloing in Tahrongi Canyon for kicks, I will chip in that the method for canceling your account isn't the absolute most intuitive, but it's really not all that hard. The kid was an idiot that couldn't read the FAQ on the Playonline website.
Regarding the propane tank, my father was restoring a '50 Chevy truck and disliked having the fuel tank right behind the seat. His answer was to put a fuel cell in the bed of the truck. I'm not familiar with the '56 vintage, but is it possible that this owner had the same opinion and a spare propane tank laying…
Let's consider gameplay mechanics, shall we?
As others have pointed out, the resulting bumpers do look a little rough, but as for the general body lines and scale? I think a case could be made to bring this in as a compact pickup that would do fairly well in the rural areas. I can think of at least two single women in the 40-50 range without effort, both of…
If nothing else, Jack Thompson is serving to show just how mixed up our legal system is right now. Lawyers were originally intended to make sure that your legal rights were upheld in court. Not "get you out of the charges and/or punishment regardless of guilt."
@UDMan: Well, that settles that. Must be making about 16.5 MPGallon of E85.
Perfect. I did a file rescue on a 500g hard drive with a failed file table (thanks for pointing me toward PhotoRec) and it recovered a lot of tiny text files that look like the lyrics to DJ Sharpnel's "Aoao". So I've been doing a file search to delete files under 4k, leaving me with a lot of empty folders. Now I…
Having lived in Fayetteville, I can imagine what probably happened. It's a military town, so when the troops are in town the economy is strong, but once they leave it goes downhill quick. It's a situation where if you're barely scraping by and nothing intervenes to help pull you up out of the rut you're in, then…
