I’m pretty sure Emhyr is a terrible father and the empress ending slightly implies Ciri has succumbed to her dad’s side whereas the Witcher ending is where she’s leaned towards Geralt as a dad. Both are good dad endings (and all endings come with major contrivance anyway so who cares) but whatever.

And 1 of 3 rushed endings to an otherwise great game.
