“Oh no, it’s sex and nudity and I’m a games journalist, I must pretend I’m repulsed!”
It’s true about how these things don’t hit you until a while after they happen.
“solely for letting the game continue”? I think you mean, “for letting the game begin”. It’s the entire concept of the game, you know, that’s a mystery throughout but then finally revealed completely at the very end.
I can see what you mean, but honestly I find both scenarios to be just as haunting.
It’s a nice read-up of what happens in the game... but, seriously? Why this much debate over it? It’s pretty obvious that there’s no coin-toss involved or any “transfer of consciousness” but it’s the narrative’s POV that plays tricks on us until its masterstroke at the epilogue when it’s revealed that you are in fact…
Steam Machine: A Failed Experiment
Sounds like a cool indie game idea.
Turd article lol.
Here’s the catch. Commander Shepard is based on Alan Shepard who was the first american male in space. As has been deducted, there’s a name-tag in the new trailer reading “Ryder” which likely refers to the first american female in space Sally Ride.
I’m glad they did it this way. N7 days is for the fans and fans have been raving so hard about “Plzzzz Shepard in Andromeda, plzzzz!” which just doesn’t make sense to happen, so confirming it this way with a homage and a heartfelt goodbye to fans was the way to do it.
Kotaku points out shady PR? I fucking approve!!!
Most practical design for these USB ports. I’ve got 4 4-32gb dongles and all of them are just slightly too thick in their body to fit in because the gap in the console is so darn narrow.
I don’t see these kind of modern things about statements of sexuality/feminism/inclusivity as something “forced” upon me. I just think the problem is that it doesn’t come across as if it’s honest. It seems like they’re just jumping on the bandwagon, like that annoying teenage friend in your group who tried to be part…
I don’t think that’s what the guy you responded to was saying at all lol. He just says it seems ungenuine.
As always, great objective piece from mr. Toilo.
I would cut out EPI and EPII and IV. The only good movies are III, V and VI IMO.
As much as the prequel trilogy sucked overall (Fuck EPIII haters though), this screenshot evokes so much more style than most of the stuff I saw in the EPVII trailers :/
Supports my theory that Anime is at large about escapism. It may handle real-life themes and social commentary from time to time, as well as stay updated with modern technology and such, but so many things that happen in animes are crazy and distant-from-reality things that can be boiled down to escapism.
It’s not a story-DLC even. It’s a “Gameplay” DLC.
