PS4 would never be able to pull these stunts, I think. Not at a solid framerate.

Well, at least this isn't a Metroid game in itself, but besides, look at Samus without her Varia Suit in the first game. There she also just wears boxer shorts and top. Actually, the Zero Suit was when they alienated her character by making her sexually appealing. I think the depiction of her getup is a little bland

God awful.

Remember that P.T. =/= Silent Hills. It's just kind of a tech demo whose only point was to be obscure and create a scary atmosphere and reveal Silent Hills.

Except it's the best case in the game for a myriad of reasons. The overarching plot of DD isn't exactly what I consider "good narrative". It's flawed to its core.

It looks like Dead Rising

I think it's good if Sony can keep all those third-party subscribtion services out of their platform. Now if they could only get rid of Uplay as well.

Seriously... why does ALL Christopher Nolan films use the same god damn actors?! It's a huge immersion breaker.

I don't really get this. Does Richard Einsebes have a position at Kotaku where he must review anime shows, or do he himself purposefully watch all those terrible shows that nobody even knows of just because he wants to? I get that we all have different tastes, but at this point my reaction to all these anime reviews

I guess there really wasn't anything else noteworthy to write a news article about today, huh?

Japan is so weird...

Hell yes, indeed! If there's any franchise in the adventure genre you just have to play, it's this series. The guy who wrote these three games is so talented. (except for half of the second game) This and Ghost Trick are some of my favorite adventure games ever.

Hmm. I don't know, I didn't bother reading this to the end because I was just shaking my head reading through half of it. A lot of the points in this article point out directly what I find to be Nintendo's problems rather than their strengths. It just seems kinda forced. It's like Reggie when they announced NSMBU, and

More Kotaku-WiiU flamebait. Is this really newsworthy? It's not even awkward.

Well a fantastic console doesn't necessarily have a great controller. This looks ugly to me, but at least it has a great layout... maybe they should be careful not to lose a lawsuit with MS in case MS get scared that another big head is in the competition and copies their controller design.

This building looks very "Iwata". Claustrophobic, stuck-up and devoid of expression.

But of course, subverting expectations is the start of humor, not the be-all and end-all of it. Humor can become quite complex—joke built upon joke, punch line built upon punch line. Unfortunately, the humor of Space Dandy is simple at best as it relies heavily on sight-gags for its humor.

Lol. So you wanted a linear but clear plot over branching narratives and tons of replayability? Go watch a movie, kiddo.

Sonic Unleashed probably. I knew reviews were bad, but after trying the demo I had to get it because it looked like a pixar-movie in game-form and the level design was good, at least for the first levels. It stayed high-quality with a lot of the level-design IMO actually but ultimately the game was just such a drag.

Final Fantasy for the last decade has been just as bland as what Resident Evil has turned into.
