Wizard 101 was fun at first back in the day, but I’ve never really been good at building decks in card games so I just got overwhelmed by the endgame, and that was YEARS ago when the original final boss was still the final boss. (and shortly after that) What I REALLY miss is Pirate 101, which played a lot more like

I could see a number of things factoring into the lack of exclusivity complaints here:

I would care more about Mercenaries mode if it hadn’t bugged out so bad that it erased ALL of my save data ENTIRELY; I was enjoying Village a lot up until that point, and it made me really sad that I didn’t want to play it anymore after that.

Yeah I wish I knew why so many shows/movies these days have such terrible audio balancing, if you aren’t constantly adjusting the volume then either the dialog is too quiet to hear or the action or music is too loud to bear; the worst is when it’s both at the same time!

Right? I mean... he’s seen better days but STILL

Oh yeah! That more recent shooter that played to its Army Men inspiration right? Mean Greens: Plastic Warfare!”

I love that mental image and the sound effects you put to it. Thank you.

ok I’ll go into detail here, fair wairning these are Bravely Default spoilers:

Not entirely the same but it reminds me of a really cool moment from Bravely Default: (MASSIVE spoilers by the way) (Edit: crap I can’t spoiler tag the image I’ll just put lots of words to push it down) (spoiler image below the words push, you have been warned)

I don’t really have a horse in this race but it did make me think of this:

I know this game has been getting a lot of flak but I’ve really been enjoying it; only a couple disconnects in HOURS of online play, a pretty fun (if short) story mode with lots of little easter eggs for fans of the series, and a fun gimmick for the items. Honestly, as long as that promised “mythril in the season pass

I don’t know anything about this particular situation but here’s my view: when someone has seen how bad it can be when one statement gets taken out of context it’s perfectly reasonable for them to be spooked into making rash wide-sweeping decisions in an effort to try and avoid the bad situation. That said, I didn’t

The tentacle is the author’s self insert, the rest I believe are characters that have slowly gone from just representing a character from a game (like I think the one is meant to be a female TF2 Engie?) to being his regular cast.

Going Under is pretty fun if you like action roguelike things too, though very difficult

ports; that said I never got around to most of the “sequel” entries even though I bought the Humongous Entertainment bundle on Steam. I should get around to that, always loved those games as a kid.

This was the one on Gamecube as well right? Because I freaking loved that game.

THAT was her too? Holy cow I loved both of these as a kid but I never knew!

Wait really? That’s actually awesome, I didn’t realize that! Small world lol

Now playing

Ok this is admittedly pretty nuts but “most unconventional” should definitely go to RTGame:
