Almost 100% positive NWN uses 3.5, alongside NWN2. All the classes, abilities, attributes, skills, feats, etc. are directly out of 3.5 (with some minor modifications for video game purposes, as well as making toughness a more worthwhile feat instead of an absolutely worthless 3 hit points as in the PHB 3.5)
