We Bought a Zoo is ok. It’s gotta be the Great Wall.

If you mean those shield looking things off to each side of the President, those are teleprompters.

A part of the problem is that it’s a structurally weak union. This guy can go make money independently streaming that most of the rest of the membership can’t. He can also hop over to an international league where the economics are better (because the talent is a lot higher and international interest in e-sports in

Oof, when was this interview recorded? Because she has been nothing but harassed by psychos since joining “faze”.

I don’t understand any of this.”

Leadership matters, though, and when the rank-and-file are told by union leadership that “gosh-darn-it this is the best deal we could get for you but don’t worry, you didn’t really need streaming residuals anyway, and that’s parroted by the big-name actors who aren’t negatively impacted, a bad contract is the

While technically true, the workers at the bottom have the least amount of money to live while during the strike. So starting with garbage offers and trying to vote/negotiate their way to a better deal just adds on time they don’t have and may result in an eventual vote out of desperation instead of starting strong.

You make a good point, but by no means was I suggesting that streaming ever promised “unlimited” freedom. My perspective is, for decades a theatrically-released film might have been test-screened, but most creative decisions were made purposefully by a small group of individuals. A studio might give notes or demand

These are not mutually exclusive concepts. Creators have a lot more freedom now because there are so many more possible outlets that can distribute their work. But “more freedom” does not mean “unlimited freedom in every sense.”

I thought your post was pretty clear after reading the whole thing, but I think you’re overreacting a bit to people misunderstanding. It happens, nobody is coming at you hard.

I'm with Edmund here. Whatever it is you are trying to convey, you aren't being very clear about it

Honestly, your comment is really hard to parse. I couldn’t entirely tell what you were trying to say either. I didn’t think you were on the transphobic side, at least.

Movies take a long time to get made. A quick Wikipedia shows that SiL was originally written in the late 80s and first went into production in 1991, right after Pretty Woman.

Actually…that’s a pretty good point

Says the website with a fake Japanese name.

No one in the world would even remember that joke, positively or negatively, if Will Smith hadn’t reacted in an insane way. It’s the silliest throwaway joke in the world, but it gave us a the world’s worst insight into an insane relationship dynamic.

What reality do you live in?

I wouldn't take much of what Sisi says at face value. I'm a queer person, and find a lot of her takes pretty unnuanced. (Which isn't to say I think people should support JKR. I won't be buying this game and tell people I know I don't think they should, either.)

How in the hell was this article written without a single reference to the fact that KISS has been going on final tours for decades now?
