Probably not. Thats the things about what if’s in the end they don’t exist. Could the game have turned out well if the leader wasn’t an asshole, yeah but the thing is in the end it didn’t.

What Andrew does isn’t kind or thoughtful, but then, neither are most of his interview subjects. A lot of them voted for Donald Trump because it’s pretty much impossible to describe him as kind or thoughtful. Yes, they’re often broken people with bad wiring and sad stories, but they also vote in large numbers. They…
clueless troll makes inflammatory clueless comment based on Conservative tropes he probably can’t afford to know about 1st hand anyway. News at... no wait thats not news anymore.
Well multiple problems there.. as others have said quite elegantly above, people have never really NEEDED WOTC to play DnD and they largely play with rules and traditions that are only loosely based on their material. Its more of a tradition than a strict game. People loosely stuck to the DnD theme cause it was easy…
I type fast and have played RPGs since 1989, so I’ll try and break it down a bit for you.
This is exactly right. The guy in charge of Hasbro was in charge of WotC in from 2016 to 2022.
Hasbro and Wizards are the same thing. Hasbro bought Wizards in 1999. At this point, there is no difference between the two. Being angry at one is being angry at the other.
Here it is as basically as I can possibly explain (hold onto your shorts, friend):
DnD is a mechanical game system for TTRPG play. In 2000, the company that now owns the IP, WotC (Wizards of the Coast) issued an OPEN GAMING LICENSE (the OGL referenced here) which was a LEGAL DOCUMENT of rights which they provided so…
This is the most short sighted and tone deaf response I’ve seen. I can only assume you have no functional knowledge of how IPs, and OGLs work, so I’ll give you the 30 second rundown.
agree with you 100%, and sad that this opinion is now the marginalized one. RIP empathy.
The point is that you are saying he should not do the work he does, but should do something else. That is an overt value-judgment, and it’s on a different topic from what kind of personality he comes across as having.
I think the other commenter is reacting to your hostility to Callaghan’s work, as exemplified in this sentence:
The article never gets around to actually answering the question. In reality they don’t participate in the trolly problem because that problem relies on a comprehensive view of all the outcomes for the decisions. The cars as they are will take the 1st obstacle they see and react to it, and then upon seeing the next…
To be fair, I didn’t “Just” write old man yells at cloud.. And there has always been disposable commercial pop, maybe it’s being pushed and magnified a lot by mainstream streamers and algorithms to maximise profits.
That’s kind of the point. Have you seen Hobo with a Shotgun? It’s not Oscar Bait. This will be over the top, gory, funny, and dumb, which sounds like fun.
Speaking to Williams, who plays Spielberg’s mother Mitzi in The Fablemans
I guess an odd question- Is this film in Spanish?
“Or Texas Pistols and Roses.”
The article actually speaks to that. (and in any event, I agree overall that the store’s name seems like a deliberate attempt to capitalize on the famous band’s name)
“since it is primarily a florist as the central business”
Since they claim that’s the central business, that is.
