“Hulu is also getting the mysterious and magical Amazing Jonathan Documentary on August 16, telling the story of the famous comedy musician...”
It seems like they’ve got the documentary backwards. The mystery isn’t “why is it unbelievably popular in Winnipeg?” the true mystery is “why isn’t this unbelievably popular everywhere else?”
What is the USWMNT?
Ah, okay. Thank you for the clarification! Much appreciated.
“While Jemison was initially charged, a jury declined to indict her, apparently agreeing with the opinion of the Pleasant Grove Police Department’s Lt. Danny Reid”
“Wanting an article to have some semblance of fact.”
I don’t see how the Brewers could be upset. Throw the ball over the plate and he won’t get hit? It’s not exactly rocket science...
I’m surprised this doesn’t happen more often in the NBA. Like, the Raptors would have a much better chance of winning the NBA championship if their 3rd string point guard took one for the team and injured Steph Curry.
“B-minus says “barely watchable” to me. This movie looks and sounds like a ton of fun.”
Deandre Ayton was paid $100K to play in the NCAA for Arizona. What is the going rate for the Australian pro league? Are they really paying more than six figures for these high school recruits?

I believe it’s “when dorms are on lockdown and there’s not supposed to be much noise.”
I would recommend El Solitario for the Lucha Libre Mount Rushmore. His career was cut short by his death at tragically young age, but his legacy speaks for itself.
You’re missing the joke? When he said, “Only the truly dumb would confuse a pedophile and a pedantic editor” — he was being pedantic.
Odd. I didn’t check Wikipedia because I remember the story from Meltzer’s reporting in the Observer. But it was Rolling Stone that originally made the discovery and they are a pretty big, legitimate source of journalism, not some random gossip site. Seems like a credible piece of reporting.
Agreed, it was definitely rough. That’s why I felt like it was an oversight for the article to omit that piece of info as added context.
Sure but just because the NFL CBA is terrible doesn’t automatically make the NBA CBA good.
What really confuses me is that this seems to be part of the collective bargaining agreement negotiated by the player’s Union? How is this beneficial to the player?
