“Fraud” is a hyperbolic criticism of the rules manipulation.
Oh, definitely. The guy is probably the league MVP -- you can’t ask for much better than that.
He was drafted the year before. He spent his rookie season backing up Alex Smith. The Chiefs traded Smith to the Redskins after Mahomes had a one year internship to get his feet under him.
“Mahomes played fucking great, outstanding even, especially for a rookie and in his first NFL playoffs.”
A cursory reading of the academy’s rules indicates none of this is “fraud.” Per the documents, Rule 6.2: “A performance by an actor or actress in any role shall be eligible for nomination either for the leading role or supporting role categories. If, however, all the dialogue has been dubbed by another actor, the…

I’m sure both Machado and Harper would get a lot more offers if they just lowered their asking price. But if both guys are going to ask for $30 million a year for 8 to 10 years, then don’t get mad at all the teams who are disinterested — both guys are lucky to have multiple suitors at those prices!

Jim Rutherford’s mouth was writing checks that Jamie Oleksiak’s ass couldn’t cash.
“Peterman,” IMHO.
If Gruden is trying to tank, in order to stock up on talent for the move to Vegas, then putting Peterman under center is a logical move.
Why doesn’t the fighter’s corner throw in the towel in situations like this? Do the announcers and the promoter care more about the fighter’s welfare than his own coaches?
Not sure why someone would participate in a Fanduel contest if he would be this upset over losing $100. It’s not like losing the bet would be some of unfathomable result.
This young man does not seem like the most sensible, stable individual in the world. But one thing documentaries like Grizzly Man, Exit Through the Gift Shop, King of Kong, or Marwencol demonstrate is that odd and unconventional individuals often make for better subjects in documentaries.
The Steelers got hosed on 2 of those Chargers touchdowns -- the blatant missed offsides on the long Rivers pass, then the missed block in the back on the return touchdown. Not a stellar night for the officiating crew.
Okay. There’s no need to be so angry just because we see things differently. Peace.
