Yes. The author mentioned it in the very first sentence of the article: “Jimmer Fredette made his presence felt early and often against the Fort Wayne Champs...”

The worst part was when Sanchez finally got the ball, he handed it to his wife as opposed to the kid in the front row.

Everything is so unnecessarily sloppy. If the creators of the movie can’t be bothered to care about the characters or the details of the story, I’m not sure how they can expect the audience to care about any of it.

In this entire sordid affair, Philip DeFranco is really not the person we should be mad at.

“17–of–22 from the field, 4–of–5 from three”

I wish them luck but there are so many indies out there right now, it’s really hard for any of them to break out of the pack and stand out in a meaningful way.

“Im not sure what you’re on about in that second paragraph. Thomas isn’t even thirty yet so he hasn’t played his age 30 season.”

The Red Sox are playing great baseball. And I suspect nobody outside of Boston appreciates their season one bit.

“I’m starting to get the feeling some cops aren’t the smartest.”

“It’s extremely heartening that 19-year-olds are still referring to Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies as the Spider-Man of record, despite the emergence of Tom Holland, who is good but not MY Spider-Man.”

I have no understanding of his exit strategy/endgame. I understand that he scammed people and took their money. But he also stuck around until people realized that he scammed them and took their money, waiting to get arrested? This all seems like a very poorly designed con job.

“these are the risks a small-payroll team feels most comfortable making, since the A’s need to find value anywhere they can.”

Every dumb activity in the history of mankind can be explained by the same simple phrase:
