I gleefully shared this movie with my own children — who tearfully and angrily berated me for not warning them about this scary scene. And then within the year, they were gleefully sharing this movie with their friends, and laughing at the frightened response to Large Marge.
Give the cigarette guy a break. He’s trying to cut back.
The cigarette guy freaked me out the most.
That was hilarious as heck, but yeah, I agree.
You could also argue the Christmas lights uses more energy than mining.
Most GPUs are resold not trashed. This is just a terribly biased study. Also seems entirely unaware of proof of stake and other far more environmentally friendly schemas. Plus BTC is now an investment coin, not a transaction coin. So much wrong with this article.
“On every other count, Judge Gonzales Rogers ruled in Apple’s favor, determining, among other things, that the App Store doesn’t violate antitrust law. She also ruled against Epic in Apple’s counterclaim for breach of contract.”
I am glad you helped clarify for others but I disagree with your closing statement.
Which means so long to free apps in the App Store.
Huge win against big tech monopolies for big gaming monopolies.
I am so unreasonably hyped for this. Give me ALL the nonsense. Give me on the nose symbolism, 10 min long discussion of philosophy that grinds the movie to a halt, give me everything Jessica Henwick is doing all the Matrix + Inception nonsense in that trailer. I’m all in for me to walk out of this movie and be like…
Big Jackie Daytona energy.
Tom Cruise has some well-documented issues, and I don’t know that I would enjoy his company, but I can’t help but be impressed with his dedication to his craft. He’s a maniac, but I respect that he puts himself in harm’s way rather than delegating it to some nameless stuntman. He’s lucked into a really good action…
One year in Wichita we got 10 inches of rain in one day. There was a ton of flooding and we had about 5 inches of water covering our entire yard and the street, gutters (which were about 2 feet deep and 3 feet wide) and yard were all a flat surface with the water level. I can’t imagine 17 inches of rain.
It just wanted to monitor Earth really closely.
No clue what’s up with Kinja these days. None of the buttons work for me most of the time. I’d be willing to lay money on it being intentional since Herb and G/O have pretty obviously been trying to push all of these sites into a paid-content, listicle format while ousting the old school bloggers on staff for a while…
You have so fully embraced this I think I have a nerd crush!
Track me. I don’t care as long as I’m not seeing giant animated ads all over my screen vying for my attention and popping over, blocking the content I’m interested in and auto-playing whatever ad or content I’m not likely interested in.
Should we expect G/O to do this soon or are they already doing it?
