Didn't see season one but it sounds like he had a typical mid-life crisis and now realizes he probably should have stayed with Helen. The therapist points out that it was harder to cheat the first time—-sounds like Allison was a symptom which was necessarily intended as a permanent partner and now he's in too deep.

I thought this episode was so relaxing but couldn't figure out why Allison left in the middle of class for sure.

I hope not but that is what it looked like last night.

The labor scene was so unrealistic as was the basement scene—— to a lesser degree. Poor writing this week.

Never thought of that

When you are coming out of a divorce, you often do things you didn't think you would out of loneliness, etc. This was very believable— expecially when you did things the right way and they didn't work out. She is understandably emotionally damaged.

I thought she looked old tonight too, but then her daughter looks 30 and Noah looks 60 at times.

I don't get how he would know it could be Cole's baby. I guess he saw them together that night?

New to the show, but it seems it was also about the money. Helen was always too mature and "on" to him for his liking.

For some reason I never minded the explicit sex in Masters of Sex, but in this show it seems embarrassing, except for Cole and Alison which seemed emotional.

What was the prison torture about? That was hard to watch.
This show is captivating but too depressing to be enjoyable. Every day is a bad day for everyone.
