Aasif was mostly gone but came back for a couple segments. I've officially thrown all my eggs into the Aasif basket at this point.

I'll let you know as soon as they announce Jon's replacement…

Jason Jones has a show (he's the lead) starting. I am not sure if he can get out of it. But Sam Bee, sign me up!!

I wish it would be Aasif but I just don't think it will be.

That's exactly right. I don't mind a slow down in pace if the writing can handle it. This show's writing cannot handle it. It's not strong enough by a long shot.

I think that spot is already filled by (whatever Rainn Wilson's new show is called).

…and the entire Southern half of the country.

I still have no idea who those people are. I Googled it once and then immediately forgot.

I'm ready for Better Off Ted to be picked up by Netflix. Virtually everyone is available, since Phil and Lem's astronaut show got dumped before it even aired.

But what about Getting On?

"Is that a serious question?"

The Paul F Tompkins episode of Todd Glass that came out last week is *fantastic.* They covered religion, Ferguson, Cosby, and the general response to rape allegations.

That would be bananas if "Red John" wasn't Red John after all the misdirection in previous years. Learning that Bradley Whitford was RJ was so much fun, only to have that immediately taken away.

Yes, this. Oh, this guy is suspicious of his co-worker for no real reason and he's going to constantly bring it up to his boss? *yawn*

Getting On is fantastic.

I am trying to take comfort in the idea that he and Amy Poehler, each fresh off of their successful show runs, will just travel the world together and have amazing adventures.

I think they were inspired by the last couple seasons of Homeland.

I love Martin Freeman forever and ever, so this news is appealing to me.

I saw Jordan when Conan's show was here in Dallas and about climbed out of my skin from excitement. I couldn't explain to my friend who went with me why this was such a huge deal.

According to Vulture, it's a credits issue that determined that True Detective is eligible for Best Drama and not Miniseries.
