"You deserve to be happy." So depressing. What a terrible downturn the character of Deb had for the last 4 years. She went from this vibrant police officer who had a spine and a personality to this bumbling "Whatever you want, big brother!" mess of a human.

Tangent - on Jeff Garlin's podcast, Poehler was like "So for the first season there was all this confusion about whether Parks was a spinoff of The Office…." But wasn't it a spinoff of The Office? That's how they sold it, and they definitely used the same mockumentary format and the lead character was essentially the

Unfunny *and* there's no [amazing] Maya Rudolph? That's a tough sell.

I have always mostly liked Meyers, but he was better with Amy and when he had less time to mug at the camera (which bodes well for Late Night, no?). I think a duo will be fine, but not sure how I feel about Strong so far.

I did exactly that last week. Just stop at the end of season 4. Your mind can come up with anything better than what happened in Season 5.

Oh my god, having to slog through (late years of) Dexter and write a review while a new episode of Breaking Bad is waiting to be watched? That is my exact idea of hell.

@avclub-b97fa993e1616965ac436401de58042d:disqus then they helpfully panned back to where Harry had been standing and left the camera there for about 8 seconds. YES, WE GET IT, HE'S GONE NOW. THANKS.

Chahhhhlie!

I kind of thought after seeing Hank killed, Walt might change his mind about Jesse.. but, nope.

I sobbed loudly for Hank. I don't know that I've ever done that for a TV character before. I was so terrified for Jesse, too…

I didn't sleep one minute last Sunday night. This week, it's time for some sleeping pills.

I didn't think that was a shot to the face.. didn't he shoot him in the chest?

Someone shot a kid in the face on Breaking Bad one time? Was it Tomas in the earlier seasons? For some reason I don't remember this at all.

I think their last 2 or 3 CDs have been absolute garbage, and am wondering if they were *always* garbage, and I was just too young/stupid to know better.

I don't often feel sorry for Nucky, but that scene was rough.

"Call me old fashioned, but I think fire is magic and it scares me a lot." *whistles*

Him?

Wait, but then you might have missed important plot points! Oh, never mind, there weren't any, and even if there were, VO/Ghost Dad would have hammered them into your subconscious.

I did get a good chuckle out of Harrison's injury, but mainly because I was cheering for the kid to hurt himself. At least there were consequences for someone this week.

(Talking to myself from 9 months ago) I guess killing LaGuerta did destroy Deb, for about 4 episodes. But then she tried to kill Dexter, and was magically healed?
