Agreed. The scene between Isaak and Dexter was great for Dexter - so it took everyone by surprise to see they could actually write dialog again. But it's not as good as any one second of any episode of Hannibal.

I swore I was going to stop watching after season 6, then Deb found out about Dexter. I am on Team Deb, so I had to keep going. Then I was going to stop after Season 7, then Deb shot Maria. They keep reeling me back in….
When Selina was telling Mike to draft a bunch of different releases saying "Everything" my stomach started to turn. What a great episode.
Yes, I thought of all the episodes so far of Veep, this one was the closest to The Thick of It. Good times.
I went to the Dallas Gaiman event and he read a bit from the book… and I was definitely intrigued.
I'd blame you for pre-judging, but it is NBC.
Anyone listening to/watching Norm Macdonald's podcast? I've only heard a few, but they are hilarious.
Agreed. He talks so much on DLM that he must think he's running the show. He has to chime in about every single thing. Drives me insane. We are 50% less likely to bother listening at all if Samm is on. I don't know why Doug loves him so much.
I am not a Ryan Murphy fan either, but enjoy AHS. I just pretend it's not by the guy who created Glee.
@avclub-ee4fadf37efceab02df97947e8d240a6:disqus She just knew she had cold feet. She didn't realize that Jim was the one she was supposed to be with, she just knew something felt off. Sometimes it works that way and that feels true to me.
This is exactly right. You're signing your child up to spell his name to basically everyone he comes in contact with, over and over. Good plan.
They're doing a Groupon for his show in Dallas, so maybe that's why he's retiring. (Can't sell out shows anymore)

Didn't he say he met the mother at an Over 40 group? So the kids being 16 and 18 made sense…. (but I didn't have captioning on)
They did not cover the original few seasons, no.
She didn't really know she was in love with him at that point. She just knew she couldn't marry Roy and she didn't know why.

I have heard it called "wastepaper basket." Maybe in school? I'm from Michigan if it matters.
Totally agreed on both. Kevin went from just being a kind of weird, sort of slow guy to someone who could barely form a coherent thought.
Same here.. it took a long time but now I can finally process the accents.
Tangent, but I was wondering how on earth the store didn't go out of business, between Daniel's conviction and then his dad's death. If they would possibly go out of business (says Teddy) if Daniel were to work there, how did they stay running 20 years ago when he was convicted?
