@anduin1: how did you get burned? did the developers come to your house and piss on you while you were sleeping?

@Inquest: wow someone sounds like a jilted lover.

@Covenant: don't forget the flooding in Tennessee and the new wave of attempted terrorist bombings in the US.

wait... So is he saying people get their news from Ipods and PlayStation.

@Joshua Winchester: are you kidding? it made a huge differnce. Much easier to split of the team and kill them. Boom them then have a jocky take one away and they are screwed. Plus the teams always miss a ton of stuff like health packs and bombs and what not.

@CarbonFalcon: oh yeah don't even get me started on the emerald dream.

@Fenlain: I agree competly that is what turned me off to it in the end. You have a ton of stuff that is just left half done like what was that Ravenholt the entire rogue quest line there, all the zones on the map that are just missing, and just a ton of stuff where they could have added a dungeon but didn't

ok at 1:24 on the stormwind video what are those things standing around that other brown circle like thing?

@KillerBeeTX: oh I agree the list is flawed to begin with. The name should be changed to games and not franchises.

@LoganR: but then you have to include all the other bond games with it.

@KillerBeeTX: ehh I would still have to say Warcraft is the franchise WoW is just one of the games. When you think of Franchise it is all encompassing, meaning it includes books, movies games, and so fourth.

@rysc: not going to argue that

@madbunny0: yeah the whole "because millions people like it" is a flawed argument.

ok sorry but when you get actual Hollywood talent and a budget like they did it is no longer a "fan film"

@Niclass: try rereading his statement. he doesn't make a distinction between the two thats why he he said

@Niclass: but there is a very clear distinction between "licensed" and just "movie games"

@Sidious Strange: Star Wars Rogue Squadron games... Ghostbusters, Batman Arkham Asylum, Indiana Jones are not movie games.

@Kobun: while there have been a couple of good games based on movies the vast majority of them are just shovelware. I would put Street fighter the movie game in the catagory seeing as why would you play a mediocre version of Street Fighter when you could just play the real game?

@laser beams: I doubt it since kotaku readers tend to be people who actually play games and thus don't buy video games based on bad movies... or ones based on good movies either.
