@Rictor: but you don't know that it will break. You are assuming that it will break. The actual faiure rates are below 50% so yes there is a chance. however you can not say that you know it will break.

@SHOWTIME!: Do you mean windows? I have never had to purchase windows because it comes on the computers I buy. If I wanted to I could switch to linux for free. However I could not switch to OSX because putting OSX on a non apple computer is against the TOS and updates to it can turn the computer into a brick.
