I agree. This case will be scrutinized much heavier than your typical accident, and more of those variables will come into play.

I agree 100% on that being the only thing he did wrong, but freaking out in these situations catches up with you. Whether it’s on a bike, in a car, or walking down the sidewalk. This lady was a fucking asshole, and 100% wrong, but if she chose to further escalate the situation, it would have ended badly for the rider.
I’ve been riding safely for almost 20 years. That shit is not going to stop, car drivers aren’t going to all suddenly start driving better. If you’re the type of person that gets all huffy about these kinds of incidents every time, you shouldn’t be riding.
Exactly, this needs more stars. I take responsibility for the fact that I’m on a smaller, lighter, unprotected vehicle every time I ride. Anyone who gets on a bike needs to understand that right of way won’t protect you from death.
It’s safe to say that Mr. Brown found the flaw in the system. If he had been paying attention, he’d still be alive. Stats don’t change that.
You’re assuming a lot. Depending on the road, as well as the Tesla’s speed, the car may not have been visible when the truck started turning. I’ll wait until more info is available before jumping to conclusions.
That’s not an unpopular opinion at all. Tesla themselves wouldn’t even support the tech the way this guy was using it.
Absolutely, some people deserve some (a lot of) pain. I’d be just as happy pounding their teeth through the back of their heads in a dark alley.
I agree 110%. I trained Jiu Jitsu most of my life, and was a senior level (lvl 4) Army Combatives instructor. I loved the sport, and loved teaching it, but could never jump the mental hurdle associated with hurting people for money in front of a crowd.
I’m assuming it’s not listed because most people wouldn’t consider hops a food.
It’s not uncommon. During my (very nasty and multiple year) divorce, my wife had her lawyer at every hearing, I did my research and only called mine in a few times. She ran out of money, and ended up conceding on almost everything I was asking for. Cost her more than 20k, I spent less than a quarter of that.
Legally, none of this is “punishment”, but I’m sure the kid feels differently.
Bought this about 6 months ago to replace a dying Keurig. Some plastic parts feel cheap, but other than that, it’s the best coffee maker I’ve ever used long term.

Are you sure that this is where those credits are from? Most people got credits last week for the Apple ebook class action.
For one, guns are patented by the manufacturer, but that’s got nothing to do with what happened here, since these are not actual guns. They are 3d models, which are the creations of an artist. When one artist steals from another, there are consequences.
These are the same assholes who can’t be bothered to actually identify their target before firing.......you know, cause that takes time too.
This is not even remotely correct. Civil suits settle with no admission of wrongdoing all the time.
You’ve been dying to find a reason to post those pics, haven’t you?

After finally biting the bullet and buying a Dyson a few months ago, I couldn’t be any more disappointed in the thing. The Dyson is clunky plastic garbage. I want my Bissel Healthy Home Pet back.

I bought this one a few months ago, and couldn’t get the thing to cut even remotely straight. I took it back and got the Ryobi that was a bit cheaper, and has the laser marker. The Ryobi is a much better saw, even though the laser is garbage.
