WTF is a chin beard? FFS, I’m not even allowed to have a beard on my chin anymore? The neck thing I get, but c’mon!

Can’t watch the video at work, but how’s the glass hold up? I’d be more worried about that, considering my head is behind that window.
Thank you for the legal insight.
Not being a lawyer myself, I can only attest to my observations. In one of the cases, the lead driver was captured on dashcam, the two others had multiple witnesses.
So your logic for moving into the left lane (blocking traffic in the process), is so you don’t block traffic merging onto the freeway?
PA. Here’s a write-up I found that describes the situation for Maryland though.
Seeing as how continuing freeway traffic has right of way, there is no reason to move over for vehicles merging into the freeway.
You’re correct.
Call it whatever you want. In the meantime, please find me a source stating that brake checking is legal. Here’s a couple stating otherwise:
There does need to be some evidence that the act was malicious. In one instance, the following driver caught the incident on dash cam, and it was the second attempt at a brake check that caused the collision. In the others, there were multiple witnesses.
So it’s somehow better to escalate an already dangerous situation when there’s children around?
“I would also add that “brake checking” is completely legal”
You realize that in McDade vs State, the Supreme Court overturned all prior decisions, and deemed the recordings nonadmissable, right?
By “ridiculous”, do you mean fantastic?
In CA, misdemeanors can get you local county jail time, but no more than a year.
My guess is that they were just being lazy in your case. They do not need to see the infraction, it doesn’t even technically have to be on video. They can technically write a citation based on witness statements.
There’s also a difference between caring about your car, and being a pain in the ass to the valet. If you don’t use the valet anyway, why take issue with Think Carbon’s observations?
If you don’t want to take the “risk” park the car yourself. Don’t hassle the kid trying to do his job.
If you don’t trust the valet, park the car yourself. Being an ass while handing over the keys isn’t going to make them take any better care of the car.
Is that how old they’re making the character? The actor is 19.
