Mom scoffed at the idea of me possibly being depressed leading to failing two semesters of grad school. It took like a year of arguments and me saying “I don’t know why, I just could not do it,” for me to say that I felt like I was depressed. She then dismissed it, sighting all of the issues she had to go through when

Wut? You can tell?

Question: How is asking for an unopened can of pop, then calling the flight attendant out for her poor customer service (because she hands an unopened can of beer to another passenger) asserting her religious “privilege”? Especially since she was verbally harassed by yet another passenger?

Starred, because gross/funny imagery

Omg, I forgot about that. So, so true.

Its weird, she calls people out on shit like certain hypocrisies, but she pulls the whole Santa must be white shit (as you said, she has shitty ass views on race). She can be such a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, though, and I am curious how much she'll let them get away with avoiding the secular authorities.

Megyn Kelly’s been all right recently, so hopefully, she’ll sort of call them out on the asking-for-forgiveness-but-covering-it-up-anyways crap that they pulled.

Loved how he pulled the media card out, too. Whine away about the media getting a hold of this. the Duggers are famous nationally because of the media, Huckabee. Duggers should be skewered for what they did.

Seconded. This is shitty as all get out. He hurt those girls - he should have had to deal with the consequences. The girls are more than likely still working through whatever trauma he put them through.

I think what upsets me about the Barnes and Noble shelving/ categories is that the very small amount of LGBTQ books they have in store are shelved in cultural studies along with the LGBTQ non-fiction. I get that they don’t have a lot of LBGTQ fiction, but I think it would do the publishers and the readers a whole hell

Guy with the 9th circuit poster makes me laugh. Where was he when SCOTUS ruled in favor of religion pushing itself into other peoples lives during Hobby Lobby?

See, I have no problem with hate speech on a first amendment basis, but by all accounts, this lady and the organization seems to have done this specifically to garner a response. That they seem to want a violent response is abhorrent and irresponsible. They could have brought in a number of people into their game, and

Yeah, the irony there. It seems like the ABC is actively harming young adults by harassing the college students like Martese and the young lady with the seltzer water.

This isn't prohibition - its time to get rid of agencies like the ABC because they seem to do no more than harass people.

LOL I just don't believe that any of those people have not sinned at one time or another. Also, I just want to ask one of these crazies why this particular 'sin' deserves so much more animosity, than, say, murder?

When I first heard of this, I was at work, thinking to myself that it was probably someone being culturally ignorant to hold an event like this. I honestly thought this was some children's event to try to do some misguided cultural awareness. Then I saw that it was at a convention center and was like oh please don't

Some people are so far up crazy creek they'd believe those back alley abortions are done at a legit doctor's office.

So agreed, its not a simple issue and it should never be seen as such.

I hate, hate those lines. Its so sad that a tough, complicated issue gets boiled down to abuse victims being weak and spineless by people who've never experienced it.

Man, I would love that. She tends to disassociate herself from the people she serves (she's a special education teacher in a small rural town) so even though she sees things like what you have had to go through and knows they happen, she believes she is distanced from those problems.
