Wanna get really confused? when I signed my teaching contract for the Japanese company I worked for, I had to use super formal dates for my birth date and the day I signed the contract. Official Japanese dates still go by the reign of the Emperor. So my birthday was 2(d)-4(m)- 59 (the 59th year of the Shouwa era) and

This so much. My roommate is a brand new baby cop and one of the first things he did with his newfound power was trace the license plate of a woman he just asked out on a date for the first time.

Never dressed up for Thanksgiving cause it was all about the backyard football and bragging rights. Now everyone's too old, and we now sit around drink our alcoholic beverage of choice, eat great food, sort of watch football and talk politics. Yay Turkey Day!

Yeah, I was curious about having to shoot Brown for going after a gun that, unless the holster was faulty, would not move from it. I remember helping a friend work on his defensive tactics classes for the academy. I'd get my hands on the prop gun (it was heavier than the actual gun) while we spared and that mother

Oh yes, some of my friends were like this - I'm too terrified of losing control to drink more than to get me buzzed - and my other friends and I would make sure they'd get to a safe place so they could sleep it off.

Yes, to all this. I am so fed up with the "but, but, she was ___ so therefore she must have consented!" I just can't. But this kid goes further and calls her a thot (never mind how much this does not make sense) which indicates that he thought that the victim deserved to be raped anyways because she supposedly sleeps

Its always good to be prepared though:

also, coherency doesn't explain the fact that his victim was screaming - usually that's an indication of pain and fright. Duh, twitter kid who is also an asshole.

I'm in North Buffalo and the only thing we've got so far is some wind and a dusting. I know that crap is coming up here, and I'm terrified of having to drive through it. A couple of co workers are stuck at my work place in Hamburg. They've been there since early this morning (3am) when the driving bans were put in

I've got the Special Edition DVD from Japan (it has English Subtitles!!!), and it is amazing. Love the stunts and stuff. I do have to say that I was disappointed with the US localization effort - some stuff was cut for whatever reason, which kinda makes me angry.

OMG Ichi is awesome! Also another Kickass Japanese film with a Badass leading lady:

Yeah, totally. I hate looking out the windows at night and the whole idea of Bloody Mary still messes with my head.

Super spooky! Love these stories!

It was scary at the evil crucified Jesus, so its totally cool.

Oh man that Ghost Truck thing was terrifying. Goat man wins this round though-the waking up to find someone on the ground staring at you from inches away:

Love how Rush refers to pretty women as "its".

Still never got why cats love to invent gravity, especially at night. I'm usually just about to doze off and then the cat starts shoving things off any surface she can get to. Most times she wants more food, but other times I think she's just being evil.
