The Supreme Court did something good for a change, Trump indictments are stacking up like flapjacks, and Pat Robertson is dead. This seems like way too much good news for a single day. I’ll be hiding under my desk waiting for the other shoe to drop if anybody needs me. 

I’m an Oregonian, and happily voted for that measure. I’m convinced they’re going to sue and bring it to the Supreme Court (state, at least) as a violation of their first amendment rights.

Stand your ground CANNOT be claimed as a defense in Florida for shooting at law enforcement, if there is clear and convincing evidence that the shooter knew or should have known that the victim was law enforcement. I know that the Republican party stopped paying lip service to objective reality and actual facts many years ago, but this is just astounding for how blatantly fantastical their claims can get.
