Nintendo is under a lot of pressure. Two questions remain for me, will Nintendo release a large 3DS that barely fits in peoples pockets, while pushing the graphics capabilities of the handheld system because of the added space they can work with? This could justify a backlash from the fanbase because they will simply

@Cooking Utensil: Is there a Guitar Hero Effect too? I've noticed it the first time I played for 2 hours. What happened was I began to notice everything moving downward in real life. I've never experienced a "Tetris Effect" though. Since then I don't play Guitar Hero, not a huge fan of pretending to be a musician a

@Milo Corkey: They also gave out one month of xbox live for free, and made the repair process as convenient and reasonable as possible.

Age of Empires Jewel case for $1 at Office Depot. This great game got me interested in RTS and historical video games.

The letter "O" should be the Sega Saturn controller. What is that?

@Wirbelwind: Well you better stay away from Mario Galaxy 2, because all I can say is, that game was made and targeted for children. Still fun as an adult, like how Disney Land is fun to an adult, but moreso for kids.

@-MasterDex-: I would have also preferred Rome 2 since Rome came into contact with nearly every civilization (some even say the Mayans but it's unlikely, but still was a possibility!). I'd like them to add more civilizations, and change the way battles are waged rather than concentrate on making the diplomacy more

I never understood why neither of the nubs are on the edge, but stuck in the middle! Couldn't the D-pad be substituted with the keyboard? Just shape the WASD buttons exactly like the normal D-pad. This is somewhat of a similar problem with the Playstation controller, where the two analog sticks are awkwardly placed on

@Countdwn2Static: Agreed. The classic Sonic games had their slow, difficult areas, which were "replaced" in Sonic Unleashed by the werehog levels in a way. I'd much prefer that mixture actually and I think it worked. What didn't work of course was the very poor controlling scheme and a few other things that usually

I'm really hoping they push innovation to the war system, because otherwise I'm just not interested. I have all the Total War games except Empire Total War and Napoleon, because they were much the same and I didn't want to dish out more money just for naval battles. There was just so much they could have put in, but

@arionfrost: You are completely right! I love Target's discount shelfs. Usually they aren't in the most noticeable area like the front of the main isle, but for years it's been that way. I got some decent games there like Medieval Total war for $10, and some terrible political game about the 2004 presidential election

I read this a couple of days ago and it still makes absolutely no sense to me. Maybe to a music major it would.

@Hami83: I miss the days of no loading times. I really do. The loading times on the PS1 and Saturn were almost unbearable. Even today I would choose non-CG cinematics with midi music over slow loading waits and poorer graphics. In fact, I still have the midi version of Hyrule Field from Ocarina of Time on my

@RockyRan: In the DS Zelda games and Ocarina of Time, that did occur early on (remember, 8 year olds played those games including me when I was 8, none of them beat the game most likely), but in Twilight Princess I didn't hear much help from Midna from the traditional puzzles like you just mentioned. The closest

Twilight Princess, although may have been easy at times with the main bosses being a joke, a lot of players who have never played any Zelda games would find challenges most of us veterans would find easy. An example of this would be lighting torches, placing a bomb near a weak point, or using an arrow to activate a

These ads will be uncovered thousands of years from now by an unsuspecting internet historian. That's how huge of an impact they've had on the internet.

I just beat Sonic Unleashed on the Wii, took me, sadly, almost 3 hours total to beat the final boss. This was over a 3 day period with 4 different times I turned on the console and went at it. Although I would have liked the Xbox 360 version with the extra features and stages since I have a 360, it was still fun with

@Tevor_the_Third: I never said lifetime sales don't count, they are important too and shouldn't be disregarded. But I've never seen any data showing the sales of a console during its generation only. I believe this kind of data would be a more accurate representation of the console's impact it had during its hayday

I would really like to see more representative statistics that reflect the impact a console had during its generation. This would mean counting console sales ONLY during its generation. For example, the PS2 sales from when it came out in the year 2000, to when its next generation counterpart came out, the PS3 in 2006.

@SuperSonik: @BubbleF**kingBuddy: I didn't experience any lag or choppy framerates on the Wii version of the game.
