I mean, I don’t agree with the new pay system, but at least give some fair criticism of it. The actual goal is $16/hr after expenses. $30/hr is what they think is needed to cover expenses and produce a wage of $16/hr. A uber driver making that$30/hr has much higher expenses than a teacher making $30/hr; not

Those retirements are not voluntary, it just looks better for both parties than a public firing. Those ‘retired’ people will probably have new jobs within a year unless they were actually retirement age. And the person who is taking another job is likely doing so because he just moved faster than the other two.

Executives dont just all get together and “move on to new challenges” en masse, the same day a new CEO takes over. They were told to quit gracefully or get canned.

That’s a pretty impactful cleaning house on day 1 for a new CEO. All of those people knew what was coming and given the chance to leave by saving face.

Comment from the runner-up of the pick-up truck: “screw it I’m gonna get a Ferrari instead”

The only complaint about this awesome story is the title makes it sound like it was someone’s personal car, not a prepped M4 by a business that makes cars designed for this...

“These are Nankang AR-1s, so Kubica ate something north of a grand’s worth of tires”

Relax, your stuff is still working. Used clothes washers are nearly free, pick one up off craigslist if you have to. The van can live without a trans flush for a long, long time. Do the oil changes for your daughter on time, that one’s easy.  A dim TV still works fine for now, grab one for $200 in November if you

Dang, I did not need to read this story today. Let’s see, my wife’s van hasn’t had a transmission flush ever. My daughter keeps forgetting to do oil changes and I snapped off a nipple on the radiator and fixed it with epoxy and hope. The washing machine has a broken spring and seems to be made of razor blades when I

Yeah there’s no way those tires arent dry rotted at this point. That low of mileage and the original tires tells me theres been zero maintenance done to this thing.

I always find it amusing when a for-sale listing points out that the vehicle is on its original tires. I for one don’t consider that a good selling point.

“I’d say “well” is not the appropriate term.”

I’m just waiting for the full series of David Tracy wrenches a shit box through roadworthy inspections of the world.

Scrolled straight to the end hoping for a positive outcome...guess I’ll go back and read the article now

Well, it’s pretty easy to just plop a Coleman 2-burner on the counter when you want to cook. They’re cheap, simple, work very well, and you get your counter space back when you’re not using it.

That just screams to have a Blue ‘VW’ and stripe on the sides

I’m sure it exhibits all the structural integrity that balsa wood and dollar store zip ties can deliver.

Nah, I love my Bolt but the range here is pretty much equivalent - 250 vs 259? And it’s a bigger vehicle, will have better fit and finish, and be more useable for the average family. So at a starting price pretty close to a nicely equipped Bolt I think this is a decent deal if you need a true family vehicle.

The ID4 is only 6 inches taller than a Golf and most of its weight is down low in the batteries. The ID4 is also RWD. But yes it has another 1000 lbs to contend with.
